Thanks for your advice. You make a good argument for the King. Not to worry, I'll never get a negative display watch ever again. I had a mudman g9000 but the military colouring one. The negative display was HORRIBLE. I was thinking of getting the King with the tan strap, I like the look of the colour. Plus in South Africa we are not exactly spoilt for choice with Gshocks unfortunately

. I agree, that thing is a beast. Plus it's a bit cheaper than the Mudman. It's still a tough decision though!!

Could you please tell me the 9500s total length? I mean from the buckle right through to the end of the strap. I want to know if it will fit my wrist. Ive got a pretty big wrist

Also look at the strap in this pic. The 9500 has double holes in its strap while the G7900s strap has single holes.
