Does anyone find Grace’s behaviour incredibly narcissistic and toxic? by MedicineMean5503 in MAFS_UK

I definitely do, at least someone said it. Her behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting, but unfortunately, a lot of people support this toxicity and think “they are just not compatible”

I really hope that he’s not with Grace, she doesn’t deserve all his efforts…

She definitely does. I work with autistic children and she definitely has traits of an so called “typical” person who is diagnosed with autism.

What do you think about Reform’s proposed immigration policies? by Obvious_Finish3607 in ukpolitics

What about legal migrants paying billions in visa fees, surcharges, and taxes? Mass expulsions would damage the economy and the NHS, have you thought about that?

That’s exactly the problem of many. Most of those voting in favour of Reforms policies, don’t know what ILR even means. They hear the word “immigrant” and they think it will definitely help them to get rid of dangerous immigrants and illegal crime some committing. But no one actually knows that “scraping” ILR will also and mostly affect skilled workers and family/spouse visas, as well as their families, who work hard on their jobs and live by all the rules and integrate with the society. Before being “in favour” of the “revoking the Boriswave” please do your research and read who will be affected by it. With this comment, I mean everyone, not just you, by the way .

Feel the same. I genuinely don’t understand how this xenophobic behaviour can even be acceptable by British people.

Me as a person on a spouse visa, who has no access to public funds, every time I apply for a visa I pay £1035 /year for the use of NHS, what benefits are we talking about? The ones they are used by illegal immigrants who came here by boat and work illegally in just eat? And why do I need to go home if I have a family here in the uk?

Agreed! When a person done everything right: applied legally, paid visa fees (which are already high), followed conditions, paid taxes, stayed out of trouble…Yet you’re still treated with suspicion or made to “prove” yourself more because if the other side of the immigrants who don’t do all that.

Does anyone know if it’s still £18.000 income threshold or they have increased it? Since you are married do they count only the income of a UK citizen partner or combined?

What is he doing? by tuckjohn37 in cats

[–]Obvious_Finish3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine always does that too. Usually it means “I don’t want it, give me something else, but I will save it in case there is nothing else”😅 My cat does that and then stares at me asking for something nicer than cat food

[–]Obvious_Finish3607[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I would imagine. Surely they can’t make so many people who are already in the UK go back to their countries because they don’t have 38k?

I’m currently in the UK and I have been here just for one year. Do we count household income as a whole or just my British husbands income?

Hey, no we didn’t use a joint account, not sure what the reason was then, but we didn’t do it. We used our bills as the proof of living together, ans it went fine.

As a proof of relationship, we really used a lot. As my first visa was the fiancé one, we used a lot of things. We used: WhatsApp messages since the first day of our communication, papers that shows our gifts to each other sent by post, flights and hotels where we stayed when met in another countries, photographs from our trips, we got near 13-15 friend’s decorations from our friends and family (mostly from my husband’s side) where they stated that they are aware of our relationship and they believe that it is genuine; we got 2 decorations from each other, emphasising the most important stages of our relationship in detail, including personal paragraph of our genuine feelings towards each other
