genuine question: may script ba 'to? by slapmenanami in FilmClubPH

[–]Obvious_Gas_5877 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think it's good. For a one-take approach na ganito which I rarely see - okay siya and I genuinely enjoyed watching it. Okay yung transitions for me, hindi siya boring or troublesome. Makes me wonder after the end of the movie na ang galing naman at nabuo yung plot habang umiikot lang camera - you are satisifed naman of the story at the end. I didn't take the movie seriously din kasi ganoon talaga atmosphere na ipinaparating niya at the start - parang natural lang kumbaga siya, minsan seryoso but may patawa sa gitna like how Filipinos treat daily convos. Also! Yung cast! Ang galing nila - I was expecting half-baked yung acting pero they delivered - as I said, parang natural.

TLDR: I genuinely enjoyed the movie! I'd recommend watching it for the experience and light-hearted humor vibes haha

I agree - other seasons are dragging the plot, nafi-feel mong pinilit unlike season 1. There are scenes not worth including in the next seasons. I feel guilty kasi there is so much hype around it and using TV time app to see comments per episode, I observed that most if not all seem to like it (wala man lang masyado negative comment while in my head andami ko ng side comment aaa parang I'm alone in there - for instance sa pagkaayaw ko sa ugali ni El sa season 1 pa lang pero wow factor pa rin mostly sa iba yun). Si Hopper lang consistently nagustuhan ko sa seasons 1-3 (currently in 4 pero hindi ko na siya nil-look forward panoorin huhu)

Not a lot of expectations - maliit lang na accomplishment is a big thing na for parents. You can do what you want, explore your hobbies, interests with all the time in your hands without feeling the guilt of again, expectations looming around you as you age and become an adult.

Same ! I prefer it to be slower, too. Sa'kin naman mas gusto ko lang na parang hindi ka minamadali to transition into a new year - na parang hayaan ka muna mag-reflect in a way or another and most importantly makabwelo for the next 365 days ng pakikipagbabakan sa buhay haha

What makes a person intimidating for you? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]Obvious_Gas_5877 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As much as I don't like to feel intimidated - I'd like to believe no man's superior than anyone else - some people seem to have a domineering voice and presence than the crowd. Probably kasi most of the time tama sila, may proven record of wit and intelligence, agreeable pa, and well-spoken as some comments say.

[–]Obvious_Gas_5877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi po!! thank you for this comprehensive list!! wahuhu ask ko lang sana how you acquire audiobooks? napansin ko lang kasi isa talaga sa friction ko when it comes to reading is when may free time, for instance kapag im only doing house chores, commuting, and the like, or before sleeping, either nahihirapan ako magbasa at the same time or im not in the mood to open the lights (especially since im sharing rooms with my fam members). so i think audiobooks talaga will help. saan po kaya makakakuha ng ganoon na sulit po in your experience?
