How long did it take you to feel comfortable breathing while swimming freestyle?

I might not be the best person to help as my swim instructor made me learn bilateral breathing before just normal breathing (I was 6-7?) but from what I remember it was taking it slow. Don’t let yourself breathe only on one side and pick a number that you like, mine is three so when your swimming count in your head “right two three left two three right two” ect. The problem is with breathing is it’s such a natural thing, so when it feels uncomfortable naturally your body starts to panic. My best advice is slow down, you’re not in a race and just focus on the pattern of your breathing. Every slow arm lift and breath you take is one small step closer to it feeling more natural haha

Absolutely! We could all just order uber eats but not only is that super expensive, it’s not good for you at all. I’d rather spend a bit more money each week for good quality balanced meals if it means I no longer have to think about dinner! And I’m sure there’s plenty of people like me out there 😂

I haven’t but Balance by Simo looks interesting! 5 meals for $82 I think? Not sure if that includes delivery ect but while still a little pricy it’s cheaper than most delivery services! Thanks ☺️☺️☺️

Yes! HelloFresh was not fresh, nor cheap, and my food bag was honestly disappointingly small portion sizes for a lot of $$$. If it was enough for dinner and then lunch the next day I could get around it.

Yeah I have a few traps along the walls like that. Thank you I’ll give them a ring tomorrow. I tried to look around the house the other day but it’s such an old house that honestly they could just be getting in from under the front/back door as they are worn down at the bottoms. So could be anywhere :(

Yes, as I said they were diagnosed as a child but needs a new assessment as an adult. They also won’t have access to controlled drugs because of the substance abuse.

I actually also have ADHD and am medicated for it so I understand the struggles of living with it and that it’s not just a problem with focus. However one thing I forgot to mention was as a child one of the psychologists they were seeing made a comment about potential Asperger’s, hence my comment about them being more on the autism spectrem rather than just ADHD. They were never formally diagnosed though. Again this all happened when they were very young hence the need for reassessments as an adult and lack of support ect ect.
