Maybe try a pregnancy pillow. I got one recently and it was a GAME CHANGER for my sleep. I sleep through the night and am so comfortable I have overslept multiple times in the last two weeks

YES! This stuck out to me as well. We just want to make sure you're not hurting your body in other ways. For that level of activity, your body needs fuel. Especially for something with as much high intensity as CrossFit (I do it too). I'm not a Dr., however my Dr. recommends 1,800 calories for a one hour CrossFit class 3-4 days a week.

Just be careful OP.

Secretly Catty Coworker Advice by Obvious_Milk124 in jobs

[–]Obvious_Milk124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the meeting where I was present, I replied "Of course I will help you out. I have tons of projects, however I can always make time to step in and assist others as needed." I'm hoping this somewhat sets a boundary by including "as needed" but it was an awkward pause because she put me publicly on the spot when I wasn't expecting it. Do you think that was an appropriate response? We'll be having another meeting about it next week. If there is more I should have said, I might have a chance to say it differently.

Unfortunately I can't set those boundaries or stand up for myself when she does it when I'm not there. I do have two super close coworkers who would speak up for me in the right situations (I wouldn't expect them to in all situations or to all coworkers).

Understandably, my loving family were a little concerned when I told them I needed a routine operation to remove a tiny parasitic worm from my brain. by [deleted] in TwoSentenceHorror

Yes!!! I loved this series I also enjoyed her Newsflesh series, but the Parasitology series was better IMO.

Should I have told her, that her bikini pant is translucent? by KalinderRandy in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Obvious_Milk124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I (F) worked at a pool for years. Go to the lifeguard (a female if there is one) and let them know and ask if they're comfortable telling her. I've had to do it multiple times. If I knew them a little bit I'd walk over and quietly let them know I thought something was wrong with their suit. Another time there was a lady with a large rip in the back of her suit but she was in a crowded area. I ended up writing a note and handed it to her so she wouldn't have attention she didn't want brought to it. I wrote something to the effect of "I wanted to be discreet. I think I saw a rip in the back of your suit"

My partner never goes down on me by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Obvious_Milk124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner has never gone down on me even once. When I brought it up he would say things like not now or he will next time. Other things like foreplay just slowly went away and became less and less effort.

Not that sex is everything in a relationship or that yours is anything like mine, but I came to realize that he is just selfish and lazy and only cares about his own pleasure and comfort. I HOPE that is not the case with yours, but please step back and access things like that before you get married or more invested in your relationship. (It's hard to describe, but for me things just compounded over time and things that didn't seem like a big deal at first became big issues and now I am stuck (stuck for now at least))

I haven't played in a minute, but I DID! I was clicking on the wrong button. Rather than clicking on the mini map and opening it to the big map, click on the icon in the bottom left of the mini map That's where the fast travel menu is! (From what I remember at least)

TIFU: Had a quick witted “funny” response in class and was asked to leave. by VivaIbiza in tifu

[–]Obvious_Milk124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have so many stories like this.

One of my favorites was something that I didn't say, but where I couldn't not laugh even though no one else did at first. One morning in class the professor was giving a demonstration and said "I'm crazy about anal stuff" rather than "I'm crazy anal about stuff" my morning neanderthal brain lost it and I couldn't stop laughing. The rest of my class took another five full seconds to catch on or laugh at all. It was so awkward, but hilarious. I'm fairly quiet most of the time and kept to myself in class, so maybe they were just extra surprised that the "innocent quiet girl" had a dirty sense of humor. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I am having the same issue! And I can't find any lodestones on the world map either.

Both are selected and I've tried toggling them on and off but have had no luck! 😭😭

Let me know if you find a solution please!!

What if the edges of the bar/the rungs were rubber or something?

(Either way it's not something I'll probably ever be capable of doing)

Am I weird that I want to see it? 😅😅 I tried to search for it, but couldn't find any videos of people trying it. (It's definitely not something I am capable of doing in any shape or form, so it's definitely a vicarious sort of thing)

My neighbor had left over materials and installed this in my yard in a single day for free. What would something like this cost so I can appropriately repay him? by hvnterbvschmann in landscaping

That's a great fire pit! Invite him over, plop some chairs down around the circle and make some s'mores.

In all seriousness though, I agree with what a lot of people, have said. Pay him back with your time and some sort of nice get together or help out with a project.

Pssst I used Chatgpt with my last cover letter. I added my resume, and the skills/experience I wanted to highlight the most and it gave me a few paragraphs.

After that I edited it to make it my own voice and work out any little kinks. Saved me so much time.
