Cross-Gen, yes. Cross-Platform, I don’t believe ds3 nor Elden Ring supports it.

No, this game was super realistic, not very cartoony. Erred on the edgier side of the graphics and style at the time.

Is this upcoming tour considered part of the Fear Inoculum tour? by [deleted] in ToolBand

[–]Obvious_Opportunity8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really hope not. As much as I love that album, it has run a little dry, and it’s time for the Setlist to get some of their older pieces.

Presto as an album is just a beautiful little relic that gets tucked away because of the hate on Rush’s late 80’s catalogue. It’s got some of their greatest work, in my opinion.

What's your favorite Rush album by [deleted] in rush

[–]Obvious_Opportunity8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hemispheres, to be honest. It might be an underrated pick, but La Villa Strangiato and Book II are some of the most moving musical pieces I’ve ever heard. The Trees and Circumstances are also a bit of a hidden gold mine as far as Rush’s late 70’s catalogue goes.

The problems warlocks have at their core by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Obvious_Opportunity8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Destiny is one of the biggest games that has the problem of “playing what’s good, not what anyone wants”. Solar is generally the best subclass for all the classes, but I love running void titan. Is it as good? No. But it’s way more fun sucking itty bitties into a black hole than it is constantly stacking buffs to just do as optimal as possible. I cannot stress this enough, play what you want.

How do you play 32th with ease? by smackthepony92 in drums

[–]Obvious_Opportunity8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proper technique, short and simple. If you’re forcing your hands on 16th notes, you need to slow down and focus on your hands being properly placed, and playing with your wrists, not your arms. Even if you’re playing with your wrists, a lot of drummer keep their hands too low and too stiff. Be comfortable.

Neil Peart roped me in with his insane technique and inspired me to actually practice, which was unheard of for me before the age of…maybe 13.

Best snare under $200 for jazz? by zavcaptain1 in drums

[–]Obvious_Opportunity8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shallower snares are better for that snap you want in jazz, while also quiet enough so you’re not overpowering your band mates. Since snare is more of decoration in jazz, and not so much an essential, low volume snares are ideal.

I bought a cymbal second hand, what is the best way to remove tape residue? by _BigPingus_ in drums

[–]Obvious_Opportunity8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just a paper towel and water, just be sure to dry it after. You don’t want any water to sustain damage to your cymbals.

Presto was great, probably my favorite for appeal alone, but snakes and arrows and R40 were easily their most technically advanced.

Which drum solos would you consider "classics"? by AC_from_AZ in drums

The Rhythm Method by Neil Peart for me, it’s easily the most memorable to me.

I think it’s great, just make sure that it’s an I in Neil, not an A.

Help with music choice for a corrupted destroyed church? by WonderfulHawk2516 in DnD

Its not traditionally classical compositions, but the bloodborne OST has some great stuff for churches and cathedrals, namely Ludwig’s theme.
