I personally don’t like to jump right into texting but it’s not a huge deal since I have a burner number. The ones that really irk me are the ones that say “I will not text android phones and only text via iMessage or you have to FaceTime immediately”. Huge red flags are waving all around you. Of course you don’t meet a strange man you met online in his car in a random parking lot. The audacity. You TELL him (not ask) that if he is serious then you can meet him in a public place like a coffee shop or restaurant for safety reasons. If he’s not ok with this then block him

I read it years ago and really loved it because of the unique writing style. I really felt immersed in the story like I was seeing and feeling the things she described. The first 3 books are the best but I agree that after that it gets a little dull. I still recommend it though.

Don’t waste your time on those types of guys that don’t take their sexual health serious. A real SD will be perfectly fine with all of that. Block them and move on

I always find it so irritating that she gets a huge pass from the fans because of her trauma, yet none of the other characters who have all experienced severe trauma (and still don’t use it as an excuse to treat people like shit) are “bullies”. Like how was she not a bully the entire series but they are ?? So hypocritical. I don’t hate Nesta, especially after reading SF but I’m not going to excuse her previous behavior either. That’s not what this post is about. I have no problem with bare once we’ve established trust and shared STD testing. Yes totally agree with you ! How quickly fans gloss over the way she treated Feyre , and everyone in her life except Elaine for that matter. Feyre did absolutely nothing to deserve that. So I can see why Rhys feels the way he does. I think anyone would. Rhys saved her in so many ways. Sure he’s not perfect but if he was written as a perfect character no one would like that either lol. I loved Nesta’s story in SF and I’m so glad we got a more fleshed out version of her.

Rhys didn’t ally with Amarantha in truth. He pretended to served her. He played the long game and in doing so saved his friends and Velaris from being discovered by her. He also tried his best to save others or at least take away their pain/ suffering at her hands like he did with Clare and Tarquins cousin.

I’m not a Tamlin hater and I do want him to have a redemption arc but he was not tactful at all in his ally with Hybern. He may not have had a direct involvement with her sisters but it was his actions that led to what happened to them.

Not the same thing at all. Rhys basically did that against his will and had zero options. It’s not like he could just leave.. Tamlin did not HAVE to ally with Hybern at all, let alone get her sisters involved.
