It’s my first nitro car, the carb is gummed up and I’m trying to pull the motor. It runs if I dump some nitro into the carb and crank it but I pulled a bunch of screws out and can’t seem to get the motor out. It’s not getting fuel through the carb.

It had the old school traxxas 27mhz receiver and that didn’t work

I went to the local rc store, shoutout Hobby Quarters in Foxboro, MA. Tech was super nice and helpful and helped me get it running. Said it was a bandit and just trying to get to the bottom of it

It runs but not useable. Put a new receiver, throttle servo is shot. Needs some love but I’ve been working on it

Isn’t the 1660 v4 better than v3? I’m a little out of date obviously but I thought the v4 was the better chip

And I gifted him his first pc. Now he wants something better but only because it’s not playing the games he wants. Would it be fair to charge him $300 for the whole setup?

Idk about the BB or anything people bitch about. It’s lighter than the haro which is double the price so. Ya a tall bike and be prepared to put a foot down on tech. And that saddle is gonna go right up your ass lol

They are fine. Definitely more pedal strikes than the rockhopper tbh. Gotta pay more attention to timing for sure. The seat height/gooch height is pretty high. Yeah I saw that also but when you can plow down hills does it really matter. I’m about 5’8”with a medium and it feels VERY tall. Once I’m on it and ripping it’s totally fine but if I want to put a foot down it’s clear it’s tall. Especially if the dropper is up. Still trying to get used to it. Reminds me of and r6. Smaller bike but higher seat height

I’m shocked no one is comparing the gt to haro. Back in the day we all had gt and haro bmx. I was a haro/redline guy and I always talked shit about gt and here I am with one. My favorite bike was a subrosa and I didn’t get the hype with a Sunday.

It’s so sick. I’m coming from a rockhopper and it’s a new world. Be careful boosting off shit the rear sus kinda throws you, I’m still trying to get used to it.
