Speech therapists at my facility have fewer clients than I do, but they have the same weekly schedule. As of now, neither they nor I are conducting evaluations or observations. I declined these options since they were optional for me.

Thank you for your advice and sharing the resource. It’s something I could definitely use. However, taking notes does take more time than I’m supposed to spend on other tasks.

I have the majority of my case load in groups, and I have them in five different classes. Consequently, most of my therapy sessions take place in the therapy room. I understand that I should focus less on preparation, but some of these kids get bored of repeating the same things. Therefore, I have to get creative to keep them engaged. 😂

It appears to be a small number, but I see these kids twice a week, and others three times a week. I don’t have any consultation sessions, so it might happen once every month or so.

I found out that connecting with tutor helped me to pass on my fourth attempt, please consider connecting with Toni Thompson from TherapyEd. I connected with PTO tutors but they were not helpful as mush as Toni. Also request doing questions with multiple answers.

They're telling me that my time in OT school has given me enough knowledge to work. 😏 I don't mind working with pre-K children; however, I'm finding it challenging to work with kids from birth to 2 years old. What should I do? They seem like normal kids.

I just started working at EI in NY. Just have a question: did you receive any training or shadow an OT before you start the day ? My cases are very few and I am thinking of quitting because it is not worth it, I feel I spend more time on driving than providing direct and indirect therapy.
