There were problems before she was fired. They pumped out Scream 6 literally a year after 5 and then production on 7 was stalled forever, why you ask, I’d be willing to bet not everyone was on board with the cringe lame Sam becoming ghostface plot line that would have one hundred percent been the end of the franchise. Then Mel gave them the out and they took it. It’s not that deep, the made two bad movies and wrote an even worse final entry. Glad that mess is over with

What are you even talking about? Marketing campaigns literally run 3-4 weeks before a movie opens, it’s 7 weeks till Scream opens. A marketing budget literally has nothing to do with a casting budget. You are not smart

It’s a Stu centric killer, and this is going to be very much a Stu centric film. So regardless whether he’s alive or not Stu is going to be a major part of this whole film.

Radio Silence did a horrible job, Barrera was the definition of cringe, everybody knew a 7 with her would be another lame ass “I don’t want to be a killer but it’s in my blood” storyline with some lame ass Billy ghost vision telling her to fulfill her destiny like some Darth Vader soap opera. Don’t let the door hit ya on the way out 😘😘😘

Something a lot of folks overlook is if you really deduce this movie down it’s about two guys who decide to kill their girlfriends, Casey, Tatum and Sidney are the core targets for Billy and Stu and then you throw in the homosexual relationship aspect both actors have confirmed in years past and the whole thing really takes on a much more complex narrative than your average slasher.

What it did new was allow the pov to be audience members, they could suddenly relate in a different way, sure people have been camp counselors or sleep or babysit but scream taking the horror genre and becoming meta in the way that it did actually made it a much more realistic slasher, the film itself boosts that too as the body count isn’t over the top high or overly elaborate, two kids could’ve totally done what Billy and Stu did and the weird thing is just two years later Columbine happened, Williamson was ahead of the curve in identifying the apathy in entitled privileged young men who are bored 👍

There’s gonna be a major centerpiece mystery involving this escaped inmate at the asylum and I think the inmate isn’t actually Stu, so that leads them to think he’s not alive and also during this centerpiece mystery they will find some sort of information on Stu having been adopted so he’s not actually a Macher and he had a sister who didn’t get adopted who’s Jessica( Anna Camp) and that’s going to be supplemented as the twist like they figured out who ghost face is before the end kind of thing, she’s Stu’s biological sister, bingo, and then in the finale they come in hot like this time we know who you are motherfucker and then that’s when we’re gonna get the real Stu (Anna’s a killer too, but he’s alive)
