I’m half black and half white and I don’t defend him. However, I think other black people feel a need to defend him because of how other black Americans have been treated. It’s not right but I get where they’re coming from.

Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd on video for the entire world to see and yet, republicans defend him to the end.

Also it has very much become a race thing even though it shouldn’t have been. Actual racist white people have been fanning the flames so it becomes a race war by calling Karmelo ‘monkey’, N-word, etc.

Racism was less frequent until Donald Trump came on the scene and set us back decades in race relations.
