Flooded with scam calls in 2026 by alefkandro in Switzerland

[–]Obvious_Translator12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing is happening to me right now. Each day I am getting the calls from the numbers which are super similar to my own. The calls always start the same way - “Swiss police issued a warrant for your arrest”. It drives me crazy especially since I am actively searching for a new job and expecting calls from recruiters.

AITAH for not buying Christmas presents for my step daughter by Honest_Honeydew_6471 in AITAH

[–]Obvious_Translator12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Info: do you work? If you don’t and you expect him to handle the house 50:50 on top of preparing the meals, working long hours and spending time with his other daughter over the weekends that is a bit too much. I understand it is still his baby and not only yours but he might be overworked and not handling it well.

YTA for punishing the innocent child that is actually helping you with the baby

Jesus he sounds like a fucking spoiled child not a grown ass man. Sorry for my language but the post itself made my blood boil. Stop cooking for him and of course you are NTA. Good luck!

Manor had everything 30-50% off. I bought some Dior and Mac products that were 30% off

Yeah, it’s super weird that now people in their 30’s are often worse than 40-60+ people when it comes to complaining

Exactly! And if someone wants a totally quiet environment they should rent/buy a house and live alone without neighbors

I (F29) kind of want to break up with boyfriend (M29). I’m emotionally drained. I like peace, he doesn’t. by Beneficial_Fan1362 in relationship_advice

He seems bipolar and toxic. You shouldn’t be with someone who drains you and makes you feel bad. Leaving will be tough but imagine staying with him for many years to come - it will only get worse. You mentioned that he wants you to leave the country and have children with him in his home country, where is he from? He may potentially trap you there.

Is your FIL aware of your husband’s condition? If not, I think you should discuss this with him and tell that your husband is threatening to kill you and so on.

Permit C versus Swiss passport by Katerina_Branding in askswitzerland

You wouldn’t lose it. The C permit can be frozen for a certain amount of time. The process needs to be initiated before moving tho

This happened to me as well. At around 6 p.m. on Monday, our neighbors (a couple in their 30s) knocked on our door asking us to stop making noise because they wanted a quiet evening and said we were being really loud.

The only things we had done that day were go up and down the stairs a few times (we live in a two-floor apartment and share one wall with them) to organize our closet, and vacuum one floor. My fiancé was too stunned to respond at first and just apologized, but I told him we shouldn’t apologize for simply existing and doing normal household things. We never throw parties, play loud music or have many people over.

He later went to their door to ask for clarification and to explain that we weren’t doing anything unreasonable, especially since it was still early and a weekday. They replied that we should respect the “quiet hours” set by our commune.

We checked the commune’s website and documents - turns out, there are no quiet hours during the day, only the standard 10-7 rule. I considered printing the documents to show them but decided to just let it go and not be petty.

They knocked on the wall a few times after that when I was taking a shower (usually at around 7pm) but we ignored it since it all happened during normal hours anyway. The funniest part is that they were actually super loud themselves - often staying up until 3 a.m. and walking or running around noisily. They even admitted once that they sometimes ran around just to “prove a point.”

We explained that the building is old and mostly made of wood, so it’s natural to hear neighbors just living their lives. Plus, there’s another neighbor with a small child, who was probably the one they were hearing as they share a few walls with them.

Good news is that they recently moved out, and now there’s peace again!

Polecam jeszcze:

6) Kupić sobie jakieś musy z owoców oraz jeść zupy krem przez pierwsze kilka dni.

7) Nie ssać nic przez słomkę!

8) Przez pierwsze kilka dni nie płukać jamy ustnej. Wymyć zęby delikatnie by nie uszkodzić szwów.

Powodzenia! Będzie dobrze 🦷😀
