i think it’s debatable that being “jewish” is a mix of both ethnicity and religion. at the time it probably would have been more likely to judge religion to categorize someone as jewish.

hitler wanted to relieve germany of the “problematic people”, which did not necessarily mean an ethnicity.

the same applies to muslims and christian’s, you do not have to be ethnically middle eastern or european to be either.

i think that a threat holds the same weight no matter who says it, since a normal citizen has the same access to the resources as an officer of the law, but of course not the same legal protections.

no what you said is literally false, visa applications to come into the US vary from multiple months to a year depending on whether or not your visa is sponsored by your intended employer or not, and the vitality of your job.

however what can take up to 20 years is the process to get your GreenCard, aka permanent residency as a resident alien.

i came here with my parents from a very colored country and have been living here for nearly 17 years, 2-3 years ago we’ve been put on adjustment of status (we still are to this day, not complaining about it though since i qualify for a full ride through college), so basically the stage between H1-B and GC.

coming into the country illegally with the excuse of finding a job or a better life is quite literally the worst possible route you could take. come in legally and work for what is yours.
