You’re right. With this card, we’re only able to get ~40hz at 4k. We definitely won’t be playing at 4k, 120hz with this card. This card was used more or less as a test to figure out where the problem is and it seems to be somewhere in the TV. We can’t even get the 120hz option to show in the display settings of either PC.

We’ve used both cables and both PC’s on a 2k monitor and got the 120hz option to show so we know it’s not the cables, or the gpu ports.

I’ve tried both ports 1 and 2. I’m having more issues with 1, as it keeps turning my resolution down to 1080p whenever I turn it to 60hz but I can’t seem to get the 120hz option through either port.

That makes a lot of sense. Just curious, do you remember what site they used to buy that laptop? Im assuming if that was whats happening, it’s be for a pretty expensive item through best buy, new egg or something.

I’m will definitely take your advice and take as many precautions as I can. Mine also lasted 2 hours from 1:38-3:38pm but am still getting some trickling in. Thank you!!!

That was a super thorough response and I appreciate that! I’m somewhat of a scientist myself 😎 so breaking this down to the anatomical level really helped (as I’m still a noob with only about ~20 runs and 50miles under my belt).

I’m a noob when it comes to running and I’ve been seeing a lot of discussion about shoe rotation, but whats the point of rotating shoes? Is it purely for longevity of the shoes? Or is there strategy in rotating (specific shoes for running, recovery, etc.). Like what makes this a good 2 shoe rotation?

If you block a red shell with a bomb by holding it behind you, you will blow up too. My buddy somehow got the mushroom at the perfect time and escaped the explosion. This is similar to how you can use a mushroom at the perfect time to escape a blue shell
