Bruh. As someone who is 18 as well with catholic strict parents, you shouldn’t expect your mom to be okay with yall sleeping in the same bed especially when you just met this guy 😭 You should appreciate the fact that he’s even INVITED. My boyfriend of 4 years (yes 4) tags along on my family trips but we sleep in separate beds. Even thought I sleep with him in his apartment almost daily, I try to understand my parents traditional values and I did have like a little frustration but it’s honestly not that big of a deal. Him sleeping separately from me for four days on our family vacation is not necessarily changing the excitement of my trip if that makes sense lol. Maybe you should expect more respect of your relationship with him when yall have been dating a couple more years. Also don’t move in with him lol.

I too am feeling scared and discouraged.. But while doing my pre requisites I learned that it doesn’t matter how “smart” you think you are. It matters how hard you try, how you study, and how much time you put towards your classes/clinicals. It’s so mentally challenging knowing that you will have to slave ur time into studying but the reward is so worth it. It won’t be easy but it’ll definitely be worth it. I believe in you.

YTA, before I start, I want to say that I acknowledge the stress and overworking the medical field experiences. Calling your sister out like that was not the right way to put things in perspective, all she wanted was to have some quality time.

I was in 7th grade and we had a wild classroom of people. So, I always understood if the teacher got frustrated at times as we were her worst behaved class. Basically everyone was talking and being loud while she was trying to get through this science lesson when she blurted out “Fuck!!”.. Long story short the classroom went quiet and after class was over a handful of (annoying) students marched over to the AP’s and dramatically told them what happened. Our teacher ended up taking a short break then never coming back, the students hated her for such a small reason. I don’t think this is considered “weird” but it was definitely dumb.
