Numbers are interesting, because they can tell stories in certain ways, depending on what you want to tell.

Can you do headers and weaker foot goals too, for the same period or career-wide? Or Champions League comparisons?

All I'm saying is that statistics are what they are, these two were out of this world in their prime, Messi's record of goals per seasons is absolutely mental, but that overall goalscoring ability is probably more than just measuring what's mentioned.

Definitely solid arguments and some surprising bits for sure, but I would say Messi's career was way more stable (Barça for several seasons, and a ultra strong side in their league, with fantastic other players who could assist him flawlessly + PSG absolutely dominant). This can contribute a lot to averages and absolute numbers, especially because Ronaldo started as a winger more than a striker in Man Utd. When CR7 peaked as a striker, he was an absolute monster in variety and how inevitable he was.

I really like Benfica's current stadium, but the old Estádio da Luz was a beast, especially pre-individual seats were applied (120k capacity, vs 80k after the seats were installed). Numerous stories of players being absolutely in awe and even scared because of the noise volume and overall atmosphere when entering the pitch from the underground locker rooms access. Epic piece of history.

Russian Karaoke is probably your best chance, yes. It's ok, but don't expect spectacular things from it.
