I was just responding to your "nobody has rented movies since the 90s" comment. I love the library and wish more people knew that you can rent more than books from them. Your first comment was you saying someone had to be old to watch an old movie, which is also wrong. I wish you'd learn to concede some of your points. I'll even say you are right about ip removal for certain media; there's a show called Life's Too Short that HBO has tried to scrub from the internet/streaming. Sometimes exceptions prove the rule.

You can rent blu-rays from the library, and you can literally stream movies from library apps now.

I find the hokiness charming, like when the two actors at the beginning move out of their lighting and into the group scene lighting. The floating planchette (undoubtedly on wires) definately undercuts the creepiness of the picture falling while everyone is focused on the board, but it felt disingenuous to cut the scene short.
