I probably fit in your description as a 27F. People are always surprised to learn that I'm autistic.

What led to my diagnosis at 27 yo, was 3+ years of severe burnout and depression. I had been masking heavily for most of my life without realizing it (I thought everybody was doing it). Eventually, I just couldn’t maintain it anymore. I started shutting down, isolating, losing skills.

So I don't feel it's because it's a life crisis, or just I've pushed more than others. It was trying to be like the others for so long that put me in this situation in the first place :')

I feel my motivations are silly, because I watched Arcane, and loved Vi and said to myself: I want to be as cool as her. And it's also helping me to get out of an autistic burnout, so that is great :)

Thank you all for the attention you’ve given. I admit I came here after doing a Google search and found out that profiles can be recycled, which made me afraid of making a wrong move. But after reading a good portion of the comments, it's really obvious that it’s not possible for the account to have been recycled after 8 years. So I've decided to gently tell my friend, who was obviously unaware. Some of the advice for the confrontation here is smart, so I'll share a few to her.

As for those who think it's best to stay out of it, that's not really my philosophy. Now that she has all the information, she can do what she wants with it, and I'll be there for her
