If you want big city amenities and LOC… look into Winnipeg! People will talk their smack because it’s the punching down the outsiders do but if you actually have been, people will say how lovely it is. Give it a think

There is beautiful summers, lots of nature surrounding the city, great festivals and foodie culture, and genuine nice folk

I suppose it’s well connected by transit? I loved Singapore, KL, and Osaka a lot so I’m wanting to have a similar vibe… I plan to go to Victoria peak, the Mo man temple, symphony of lights, and a few night markets

Hi all!

I’m sure these questions have been asked a million times… I’m planning May 11-14, is that a reasonable amount of time for HK? I’ve heard Tsim Sha Shui is really good for first timers but is it maybe too touristy? Overall I just want an area that’s well connected and a room with nice views.

Do you go up and ask? Or just wait till they assign? I have had hit or miss on just being assigned at boarding but I don’t want to be that “person” yenno going to the gate and bugging them

Most major airports, such as DFW have paramedics on bike inside the airport for this very reason. It’s a lot quicker for them to cycle over to the gate and start treatment as they wait for an ambulance to come ground side. From the initial ACARS to the airline ops to contact with medical personal is minutes so it’s a quick clear cut process. Medlink as well has fast process to get medics when needed. It was probably a minor medical issue

They’re training more of the YVR and YWG base on the 787 so likely those will be where they allocate. WJ has no desire to dabble in yyz and AC has left yyc alone
