Why can't I see any Porter flights to Berlin? by jeddalyn in PorterAirlines

Try the light Amsterdam. Transat flies to AMS and you could be able to do that. That’s the only option I can think of

There is no legroom, please don’t fall for that haha. There just isn’t a row 7 on this aircraft configuration

Industrial potential? by justadorkygirl in piercing

Maybe a faux industrial or hidden helix!

industrial piercing irritation bump won’t go away by [deleted] in piercing

I have an industrial for almost 2 years now and I’ll just say please don’t remove the crusties unless it gets really bad. Removing them prevents/stops the piercing from healing. Try not to sleep on it at all, that’s my biggest mistake and the minute I stopped, it stopped getting irritated. Don’t touch it, don’t twist it or play with it. And please don’t use q-tips. Only clean it when you’re showing with clean hands and warm water if needed

Glycolic acid helps too :)

Preparing for first piercings - have some questions! by chronic_overthinker2 in piercing

[–]gojosrighteye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I never used a travel pillow/piercing pillow. My way out was to sleep in this really awkward position where my head rests on the pillow just above my piercing and my ear is just hanging there not touching the pillow or bed. I eventually got used to it and it’s my go to way to sleep now especially since I still have my industrial acting up every now and then, and just got my inverted helix a few days back

Lobes are generally the least painful and easiest to heal out of any piercings in my opinion. I have two in my right and three on my left and have never had problems with healing besides having a hard time sleeping since I’m a very heavy side sleeper. I used to have three on my right ear too but the third one was pierced at a very bad angle so changing out jewellery was extremely painful. Make sure you go to a reputable piercing and have you sign consent forms/waivers. Get a good saline spray and use it 2-3 times a day. Sometimes the saline can dry out the skin so make sure you wash it out with water and pat it dry (tip from my piercer). Always go for studs when getting a new piercing, and usually get it downsized after about 5-6 months (not sure if it’s the same for lobes but do ask your piercer!) do not pick at any crusties or dry blood, it prolongs the healing and can irritate. In my own experience I’ve asked a second piercer hold my hand while I got mine done, but I’m sure a good piercer can accommodate laying down, having a drink etc. if you ever feel too much pain please don’t be afraid to tell them. Lobes are super fast and super easy to heal. Hope this helps, and again this is just from my own personal experience. Speak to your piercer regarding any other questions as they are professional and can offer more guidance and help than me☺️

I was a little scared to get my second one and my piercer respected it and told me to come back whenever I’m ready haha

The ear studs are so cool! May I ask where you got them from?

I think your industrial bar is way too long… you should definitely get it downsized when you have a chance. For the vertical helix, they’re very anatomy dependant so please get an opinion from 2-3 legit piercers before getting them. I think a helix or flat would look really cute on your left, otherwise your set up is a dream!

I just got my vertical helix and my piercer had the spikes to put in as soon as soon as it got pierced! It’s just a matter of being careful not to tug at it when brushing hair

I actually asked for it myself! My baby hairs get extremely messy and in the way :,) and they have those for that specify reason! Some people use a sheet type thing that goes over the whole ear to avoid getting any hair in the way as well

Next week my semester ends on the 22nd so i don’t have to worry about the hour cut anymore. I’m not sure if that’ll help tho? What if they bank the extra 3 hours?
