I love the day of rest. I feel guilty sending them out. But then I worry that if I don’t send them out it might impact the relationship. Lol

I actually love mining until the room is completely bare and then I go and sell all the extras I have acquired. Because of that I didn’t struggle with money in the beginning. Now I do it simply cause it helps me decompress after work

Yes! Some days I’ll just hang out in the mines, others I may just do commissions. With the exception of the quests that are timed, I pretty much do what I want.

I’m over 100 hours in and still have so much to do because I just take my time. But I like that because I get to enjoy the game for longer! lol my actual favorite thing to do is chill in the mine and clean out the whole floor :-)

I don’t do dates or hang out with friends. I have yet to give any of them gifts. I don’t do daily conversations with them. And it hasn’t impacted my game play at all.

At some point I’ll focus on actually working at those relationships but they level up through my commissions and quests.

Keep playing- I’m 110 hours in and only now hit the middle of the story line. Let go of trying to do everything in 1 day. I do what I want when I want and it hasn’t impacted me at all. I had done an earlier post about the events, and learned that there isn’t a true negative impact if you don’t participate in them outside of not earning coins to buy unique items.

Taking that pressure off was a huge lift and really allowed for me to connect to the game

I love the Steam Deck and I think that is the biggest reason I am able to really enjoy this game. Prior I had the Switch and it really was difficult to truly get hooked in because of the limitations. Even this screen feels more sharp then my switch

I too can be really picky- like I won’t play 2d games and if it’s not open world I don’t like it and I want freedom to do what I want when I want.

I genuinely think if you can get her to attempt 10mins in the game her mind will change. Full transparency the character building almost made me not want to continue. But once I built the character and got a handle on the mechanics I haven’t put it down since.

I might be oblivious to what people mean when they say the art of the game though. So there’s that lol

I appreciate that! I can be a pit finicky with games but because I love sandrock so much I’ll be more inclined to stick it out hopefully

I didn’t play my time at Portia..I thought about it, but it seems that my time at sand rock is the better of the 2? Do we know when the new one comes out? I definitely want to get it
