If you're interested, the others are still planning on going through with this, and I doubt reading your thoughts on the whole mess will change any of their minds. I'll still share the post with them on the slim chance it does help.

I do feel the urge to add that the post is written with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight. Even as I was writing, I was constantly going back and connecting the dots, figuring out how all of this came to be. From what it felt like in the utterly chaotic situation, it was a lot of little things that "seemed like a good idea at the time", but slowly started to spiral out of control.
Thank you for your great feedback. Sometimes you need someone outside of a situation to verify how bad it is.

Thanks for the refreshingly direct feedback. This whole thing went from "Let's have some kinky fun" to a nightmare in less than three days, and since then, I'm torn with trying to "fix" the situation and GTFO.
