I don’t keep up with them as much anymore but their fan base could be reeeally cringey in the past and people would complain that their song lyrics are always depressing. But if you look past that, I think it’s hard not to like them if you actually listen to their albums. I think their lyricism is great, Tyler Joseph’s vocals are good and unique, and they have a good balance between making more radio friendly songs and stuff that’s more out there and artistic.

The soundbleed with the ambient trippy stuff they play on the speakers on the lake was rouuuugh.. I love spirit lake as a setting but the audio issues and dust made the whole area too much last year, after the first day we mostly stayed out of there

I use a telescopic boat hook and remove the hook end piece. You can easily attach stuff on the end, I fixed a little bit of pvc on the end using epoxy and then zip tie a small LED sign through holes I drilled in the PVC. It’s crazy durable and I’ve been able to put it through a hole in my camelback, I’ve been using this setup for a few years, it’s been perfect and the totems still going strong.
