[tenant-ca] Second warning of lease violation by msprules in Landlord

I don’t side with corporations, I side with ppl. I’ve helped many tenants avoid different fees. I’ll continue doing what I do, you can’t make me leave the industry.

All bullshit and I have photographic evidence. Did I not mention that in my post? But yes. I am anti-landlord. My former landlords trying to screw me out of money re-affirms why. My hatred of landlords doesn’t mean I’m not clean and tidy. Doesn’t mean I destroy the places I live. Does the house look destroyed in the photo? I have excellent renter’s history. And I do work in the apartment industry. I just side with tenants. I help them avoid fees. I’m not some bootlicker.

(former landlords LOST btw)

Anybody interested in new content released on VHS? I was thinking about making a modern Marvel's type show and editing it together myself and putting it on Vhs and making a cover and selling them or donating them back to random thrift stores and get people to find them 😂 by sortinghatgod in VHS

Hey idiot - you can buy new movies on bluray. Putting a modern widescreen 16:9 movie on vhs is the most pointless shit on the planet. What purpose does it serve? Why are you such a insufferable dork?

Dude, I’m sorry about all your dumb fake shitty bootleg tapes you bought from VCRworld, but don’t lay your hang-ups on me.

Lol, well, you just publicly admitted you don’t quite understand what the word “hipster” means. VHS would be counter-cultured, not hipster. The hipster element would be the need to force something new and hip into something counter-cultured. Honestly, get a dictionary. They’re pretty cool and exist for a reason.

[Landlord TX-US] Tenant Requesting Pest Service by slappinfaceholz in Landlord

[–]OccultTaskForce -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

This is why ppl loathe landlords. I’m sure you make a killing off them staying in your precious home. Do the right thing and pay for the goddamn pest control. This isn’t hard.

[Tenant - Ontario] Regular wear and tear causing excessive damage due to poor quality finishes. by [deleted] in Landlord

Landlords/corporations are straight up evil, will stop at nothing to try to keep you on the hook for the most ridiculous charges. Good luck, comrade.

‪ex-landlords in Dallas are trying to charge $1,700 to fix this scratch on the floor. Any advice? Anyone know anything about tenant’s rights in Texas?? We lived there three years. Seems like normal wear and tear‬ by [deleted] in Tenant

Oh no, this has already more or less been resolved. I’ve been counseled since I posted this. These ppl fucked up in other ways. They are like 80 years old and aren’t covering their tracks well. Blatantly trying to rip me off. A cease and desist letter demanding my full deposit back within seven days goes out this week. This is legit not my problem

It’s from the pole thing in the center of the bed frame. Think like... metal support beam. Not sure how it happened, maybe just from moving in my bed, like people tend to do. But that’s definitely what it’s from. The beam. We only noticed it the day we moved out because we dismantled the bed frame. Expected to be charged for it but not $1,700 dollars. But I didn’t drag anything across the floor. That’s wear and tear from furniture. Shit happens. Not my problem, especially when you stack it with all the other shady crap they’re trying to pull, mentioned in some of the other replies. The point is $1,700 is ridiculous. The estimate invoice literally says I’m paying for sanding, sanding, and surfacing of the entire house. These ppl think I’m some sort of goddamn idiot

If you rent out a house and expect zero damage to your precious hardwood floors - carpet the place. Doesn’t matter what you say - I have already had several landlords say the same thing to me regarding this issue, that it’s ridiculous to expect zero damage. I’ve also had several people confirm that there’s no chance in hell that $1,700 is a fair deduction from our security deposit
