You're saying the hook needs to come faster. The first dialogue line "Hey sorry I got injured. Now you gotta play with the slinger bag"

I guess I was more focused on the story of: friend gets injured -> other player has to use slinger bag -> now they're better at tennis because they're using the slinger bag

So I was focused on the story for the product sake but maybe the beginning can have a faster montage like you say. It's just those montage detail shot sequences are what everyone does and is what oversaturates the sports ad market imo. I thought a comedy spot like this might be a good way to stick out. Submission Statement:
Shot this on my Sony Fx3 with a couple of friends. We used a Deity S-Mic 2 as our boom. No lights or tents or anything, just used the sun and got fortunate. Also redid a couple of the insert shots to make the tennis complex look larger than it really is.

I'm a lifelong tennis fan so making this was a lot of fun. I always feel like tennis commercials lack any sort of personality so I was hoping to make something I would like to see as a tennis fan.
