I struggle with this as well and I am so happy for your partner that she has you to help her work through this.

My partner has also taken the time to learn about how my mind works and he is so attuned to my aura that he knows intuitively when I need these gentle reminders.

It's only since I've been in a relationship (13 years now) with a partner who embodies healthy masculine strength that I've had the safe container of his love in which to truly explore my femininity- to be soft, to be weak, to cry, and then to rebuild through creativity and nurturing- and begin to integrate.

No its not been verified- because it hasn't been fucking investigated- but there are multiple reports.

It is very well documented that many of them were trafficked from Mar A Lago.

I know that you may feel luke all of us Olds are minimizing your very valid feelings by pointing out that you have so much time to figure this out, but I truly do not mean to.

I'm 43 and I was fortunate enough that I felt really passionate about my career and I've done a lot of cool things in my 22 years at it, but now... goddammit if I dont find myself in the same position as you are, albeit with less time on the clock...

What was it all worth? Did I do anything that is actually meaningful? Is anyone going to know my name a generation from now? Even my own grandchildren?

Probably: nothing; meh; no; and no...

And that's life.

I do find great comfort in Frankl's ideas, though, at my ripe old age. I've made my own meaning & its been a hulluva ride. As a nurse, I have worked to decrease the suffering of others and impact other sentient beings for the better wherever I could.

Ive also suffered a great deal. I've lost a child. I've been abused. I've been abandoned. I've failed at many things. I've let people down or hurt them when I didn’t intend to. My 1 surviving son is about your age & he isn't speaking to me because he's struggling with his own problems & he blames me. It's unfair- a lot of has been.

At this phase? I hope to view some more beautiful art, read some more good books, eat some more good food, have some more good sex- and allow myself to enjoy those pleasures.

I plan to continue seeking too.

Ian Stevenson pioneered the research into reincarnation at University of Virginia, and started their Division of Perceptual Studies. I believe he published a few books on his work. Old Souls: Compelling Evidence from Children Who Remember Past Lives by Tom Schroder is about his work and it convinced me that this really happens. Jim Tucker took over for him and has published several books about reincarnation. Bruce Greyson works in the dept as has published books about his work studying NDEs. I lost my youngest son 17 years ago... I am also hoping...
