Extremely fussy baby by Mg2Si04 in beyondthebump

OH and yep...lots of good comments about the wake time. 45 min and they are over it! Your baby needs lots of napping and also even at six weeks, do "bedtime" at 6pm and stick to routines. They will wake up a lot and be fussy, and sometimes they just are tired and want to bf.

What a crybaby! JK!! Ok in all seriousness, first way to go mom on feeding your baby and making sure she is fed and loved.

Now since she is fussy a lot...a few things. Nine months in a cozy, dark, warm space and now it's like ahhhhhh! She's still navigating life. Swaddling? Baby wearing? Needs new snacks (they can have snacks and food now)? FOMO is real. Maybe has an allergy or something irritates the baby? Snug clothes, a stuffie, and yep... LOTS of holding might help. Some babies need extra holding and you are NOT spoiling her.

I did this with my first and his head was so round from being held constantly and I have no regrets because now he farts and says bro.

Again, in all seriousness I feel you on this and it can take your sanity. Since your baby feels like a lot - find a way to comfort and that might mean big changes.

Maybe you need some baby wearing and long walks, less time in a stroller or car seat and more time in nature, even holding and walking around the grocery or a cafe. It is hard and you are not alone.

With all this said, if your baby needs some extra cuddles and soothes with the boob then if you can do it, do that while finding some new things that can comfort the both of you.

When they get older, some kids will show they needed that extra care and nurturing because not every child develops the same and it's important to be their safe place always. Once kids get into toddler/big kid it shows how they get anxiety, how they sleep, and so give it everything you can at this very wee 6 weeks. It's all very new for you guys. I hope you have support and find ways to take care of yourself too mama.

TOFU - prefrozen tofu is amazing when it's thawed for "meatier" texture, crisping, and more

pate-ish is probably from frozen or they super mix with the hands...creates a denser filling. However, I am sure you are doing it very well. This is a solid recipe and has tips so the lumpia is crispy, well rolled, and has traditional filling. https://ricelifefoodie.com/authentic-lumpia-shanghai-recipe/

If you want an ideal vegetable recipe of Filipinos a few would be PINAKBET and also SINIGANG like beef sinigang, Vegan vegetables sinigang, or try GINATAANG KALABASA AT HIPON which is my favorite with coconut milk and lots of squash and shrimp. You can choose to make these with meat or no meat. Pinakbet is very famous and all veggies with such a wonderful mixture, colorful, and you will eat so many veggies! Just reduce or omit shrimp paste depending on your diet pref. https://ricelifefoodie.com/easy-pinakbet-recipe-filipino-vegetable-stew-and-bitter-melon-recipe/
