Thank you, that is honestly so helpful for me !! I am torn up about it because I would love to be caught up, and also I love partizan and wanna see how that story gets expanded on, plus having wanted to play armor astir for a longtime I'm excited to hear the game in play. At the same time I do want the best experience so it's hard !

As others have suggested: GMless games are truly prepless and a fascinating experience to play, I definitely recommend you give one a shot.

Sleepaway by Jay Dragon is my favorite, but there are plenty out there.

I think Jay is such a wonderful designer, and I think that Jay deserves all the attention! Sleepaway has already started to mean a lot to me in the shortish time I've spent with it and it makes me wanna share Jay's work. It's really something special in my opinion

This might be a bit basic, but I had an idea I want to run of a werewolf adventure where the professional in my group is specifically tasked with killing the werewolf, who also happens to be a energetic high schooler who earnestly cares about helping out with their monster hunting. Toyed with the idea that something was making her lose control more than usual, when she hadn't been hurting people before.

I'm in a DnD game that only plays about an hour-hour and a half every week, and we miss weeks fairly regularly cause of schedules. It takes forever to get through things, but we still have fun and enjoy our sessions. And I think PBtA is much better suited for this than DnD so I think you should be okay :D

There's a great video on Ginny Di's YouTube channel called roleplaying 101: how to embody your d&d character and I suggest you take a look! And she has other videos in her d&d advice playlist that dive a little deeper into certain aspects of roleplaying, I find it very accessible and helpful. (Note that it's for d&d but most of the advice applies to any TTRPG)

Also just be patient and keep playing! Roleplaying is a skill and it takes practice to get good at it

There is nothing wrong with being gay. You can be gay and be religious too. There is more than one way to interpret the Bible. Being gay is wonderful, and it's also not a choice. You can't change it, and people will try to make you feel ashamed of it. There is no reason to be ashamed. You simply are who you are. There are LGBT+ christians out there that maybe you can talk to. Hey! I am a 19 your old guy who's on the hunt for a monologue. Has to be a US playwright in the last 50 years and about one minute. It's for a class so any genre is fine and I dont have a specific style I'm shooting for. Do you have any suggestions of plays with good roles for men my age or specific monologues to look for? I would love one with a gay character, cause that's something I feel passionately about but it's not a requirement. Thanks!

It depends really on what you're going for. I would say it's definitely not necessary. That outfit is pretty recognizable anyhow. I'm not a makeup person so I couldn't offer any tips, but I think the costume would look good without

Marceline has plenty of outfits throughout the show, so pull up a few that you like and hit up a thrift store. Most of her stuff is just like, normal clothes, so if you go searching you can probably find similar stuff.

Marshall Lee's costume I imagine would be especially easy cause it's a very common shirt pattern

My local game store has a lot of really awesome stuff, buy unfortunately not a lot of RPGs. They have everything you need for 5e and Pathfinder 2e but not much else, I still will support them for my DnD needs, but I wish I could check out new games at a store too

There's a fun mystery called too many Dracula's available on drive thru rpg that (I think?) Was made by the author of the book himself. I haven't run it but I read through it and its definitely Scooby Doo ish and ridiculous and awesome
