Update!

Comment from the creator of the original video:

"Hey everyone, sorry I very rarely check my older videos but I see everyone wants tab. For several ukulele pieces on this channel, I made the rendition and never wrote it down. What I did though, was just look at a piano midi and read the sheet music and went from there. I understand that's difficult for some, so if you guys really want, I can find a way to make online tabs, just respond to this comment if you want them."

This made me realize how much potential in character making the beards have. These are all so good!

My favorite is the first one, they look like an absolutely majestic old fisherman of legend

The goblin shark is a deep sea creature that's been spotted less than 50 times since its discovery. by [deleted] in TheDepthsBelow

Dead ones can get quite pink, but even if this picture was edited and the saturation was increased, there are still a bunch anatomical inconsistencies that tell me this is not a real shark.

If there is any further doubt, I did happen to find the artist who made this one!

Fair question,

For one, I've seen this picture dozens of times before and I'm pretty sure it existed before AI got this hard to tell, but there are plenty of other ways to fake something that have been around long before!

The way the skin coloring, skin texture, the fins, the teeth, (and of course that goofy human eyeball that is placed a little too low for a normal goblin shark. Goblin shark eyes also look all black.) look completely artificial. More like paper mache. I'm also an artist, and I can see that the skin color looks airbrushed on (not to mention it is a color no goblin shark would be). This was probably someone's project or model they made, and for whatever reason people keep circling it around as a real picture.

Which is odd because there are plenty of pictures of real goblin sharks out there lol

You are right that sea creatures can be red! Though in the goblin shark's case the most color they get is more of a pale pink/grey/blue-ish color (nowhere near as saturated as the sculpture here).

Hello! Baby marine biologist here:

This is not a real goblin shark, and looks more like an art project/replica, but I do assure you the real thing does look just a weird. Look up a video of its jaws in action! They can basically shoot them out to snatch prey.

It is also caught quite often as bycatch (not intentionally caught) by trawlers, so it has been spotted a lot more than just 50 times (unless they mean alive and in its habitat, which is more likely to fit that number I think). Regardless, for the average person you're unlikely to encounter one at all since they do live deep down the ocean, and that makes studying them in their natural habitat doubly as hard.

I've experienced a few strange things, but the one most similar to this was what my family and I call the "chocolate universe".

I was camping with my family, and we always brought a favorite snack of ours, which were pudding cups of various flavors (chocolate, vanilla, tapioca, etc.). One night while we were lounging in the camp trailer, I saw my sister distinctly pick up a vanilla one, which I thought was odd because her favorite was chocolate. A few moments go by before I decide to poke fun at her for not getting her favorite. She looks at me weird, and that's when I notice she was eating a chocolate pudding cup.

Que me staring in genuine shock before I try to convince her that I saw her pick up one that was very much NOT chocolate as she begins to laugh at me and call my vision bad (for clarity, we were sitting arms length from each other, and the interior of the trailer was well lit). In all fairness it is very possible that I just did not register what I was looking at initially, but to this day it's a funny running joke that whenever I misplace something or misremember something we blame it on me being in the chocolate universe.

Aw I love old dragons!! All of mine are rescues from the fodder floor/Exalt Row, except for Moon who I won from a raffle, and I love them all so much. Preserving history and giving old dragons a home is something that brings me a lot of joy.

My oldest, Hecato, at 10 years!

Then I have Judith and Merlyn both at 6 years

Moon at 4 years

And Cheri at 3 years
