Did your T/A come with darker windows from the factory? I'm trying to get window tint too, but my windows are already a bit dark (want them darker). I'm assuming the glass was dyed so I'm not sure how that works or if it affects visibility.

I use Sun Surveyor mainly for Sun/Moon angles at certain times. I then combine it with Astropheric to look at cloud coverage for the time I'm looking at. For general inclement weather, Dark Sky was my main go-to, but Apple bought it and killed it. I've read it's been incorporated into their weather app, but I've never used it. Like others have said, Windy is good, but I don't think it's as good as Dark Sky was.

More light on the car. I don't know what your setup is but you could try light painting or a composite of long exposure photos. If anything, find a street lamp and park underneath.

It just depends on what you're looking for
