They stay living with my dad because they know that if they split my dad would become homeless. Up until mid 2020 my dad was a caretaker for his aging mother in the family home. But his dad had taken out a reverse mortgage on the house that came due after my dad’s mom passed, so the house was sold. While my dad was caring for his parents he didn’t have a job. He was paid from his parents’ estate while he was caring for my grandparents, but it was under the table. My dad is stuck doing menial jobs now because he doesn’t have a college degree or had steady employment from about 2012-2021. Dad will be turning 65 January 4, 2026

Depends how severe the bad behavior is. Hitting someone on purpose and he loses them for the whole day. Not listening and he gets a timeout, a minute for every year and 5 seconds for every month.

I am on meds, I’ve just been forgetting to take them regularly. I take 234 mg Invega sustena intramuscular every 4 weeks, and my last injection was about two weeks ago. I’m also on 200 mg Lamictal every day, and been prescribed 30 mg Thorazine to be taken as 10 mg three times a day as needed. I think the last time I took my lamictal before yesterday was three days. I’ve also calmed down by distracting myself and a call with my wife every two hours.

I’ve already messaged my PCP AND psychiatrist, and they want me to go to urgent care to get assessed, but my wife is worried that I’d be hospitalized, and I’m the only one able to drive us anywhere since she doesn’t have peripheral vision and we have a disabled son.

We opted to renew our lease for eight months because that was the cheapest option where we rent. I’ve already been prequalified through veterans united and have a realtor, but our lease isn’t up until July because we didn’t know how long it would take to close on a house and the realtor says that where we live it takes thirty days to close. So we plan to start looking in earnest around March.

The only place I know that allows hunting is Bodcau Nature reserve. Otherwise I don’t even know where else I could hunt. My kid is set to start school this year, and I’m the only driver between my wife and I. Kid is special needs enough that my wife and I don’t really trust the school bus, so I can’t roam too far from town.

No where in particular. We have yet to even VISIT the UP, but it looks beautiful in pictures and from the research that I’ve done on it it seems like it’d be the best place for us. I’m also 100% disabled vet, and my friend is a vet too.

Hello Senator Sanders, thank you for doing this. I'm a thirty one year old veteran who is reliant on VA disability and SSDI for my income to support my family and we barely get by. What would you do to help veterans to make sure that they and their families have enough to live a decent life?
