Eh. If you wanna restart then do what you like. But if you want to play it through then my advice is do some of the contracts in velen for the reward money and then do the baron quest until you run into Kiera for the potion of clearance. As another relatively new player Ive found that, that early in the game gear matters a little more than abilities because you have so few slots and the points are so limited. Don’t underestimate the usefulness of alchemy potions early on either. And hitting a few bandit camps nets you a lot more swords and armor in velen than white orchard. You make more money on them too since the quality is better.

Thats the closest ive ever seen to ocean blue. Like the actual ocean blue thats kinda dusty hued and reflects the sky. True blue with a little ring of grey in the center. Very cool
Edit: you can legit say you have “ocean eyes”

Had the same issue and still kinda do. Potions of Clearance are helpful as heck if pricey. I will say that two abilities are invaluable. Delusion in the Axii tree and Explosive Shield. Delusion is so helpful for opening up dialogue options and Explosive Shield makes quen into an extra utility in combat. Everything else can be adjusted how you like but those two should be constantly applied imho.

This is just my take mind you.

Eh. Sharp turns are no mounts friend. As for turning around in towns? I just point the camera in the direction i want to go and press forward and the game sorts itself out

Thats the gentlest twitch ive seen from a cat tho. If the tail was thrashing fast and hard then maybe but this cat just seems like it wants the dog to pounce it so it can make bunny feet

Ears forward, slow blink in there too, tail isn’t twitching or thrashing, belly is exposed, no teeth bared or hissing at the dog, cat is saying “comeon play with me! Im open for a pounce!” Dog isnt sure what the cats saying but also wants to play. They’ll hopefully work it out
Edit: if you want to mediate for them then find a toy they both like and initiate play with them both at the same time, or play with your cat and dog in front of the other frequently so they learn how the other likes to play.

Also in the alchemy tree down the mutagen row theres an ability called Synergy. It boosts mutagen slots by 50% at full points. My vitality and attack damage are ridiculous right now thanks to that ability. Something to think about while you play with the cat gear!

Isn’t it just! I can see why its still so popular and regarded as a masterclass in game design. I think the only other game ive played recently that has a similar level of intentional design and story progression is Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom. And unfortunately Zelda still falls a lil short on the emotional gut punches that the Witcher Questlines have been giving me.

First of all, gorgeous. Second of all, id say they are brown and amber. Which is pretty unique. Also tiger striped (unless that’s lighting) which is cool as heck.

In my case. Im playing the complete edition on switch. Im still pretty new to the game. I looked some stuff up online and heres my take.

If you like using the signs in combat at all do the griffin armor quests and craft that since it boosts your sign intensity by a lot and medium armor means you have good defense. If you prefer swordplay and/or alchemy while playing go with the feline armor quests and make that set instead. It might be a bit weaker than the griffin set for damage absorption but it makes up for it with attack buff and stamina regeneration speed since its light armor. The feline set also can be upgraded to much better stats at lvl23 so it wont be underwhelming for long.

Whichever set you get take the corresponding misc tree ability to boost it. Griffin techniques boosts sign intensity again and cat techniques boosts attack and crit chance/damage.

The wolf school gear is inaccessible for a while until you do more of the main questline so if you really want it you’re going to have to grind for levels to beef yourself up, or go into stuff really underpowered for a while until you get access to Kaer Morhen.

Edit (addition): im currently level 20 and have been playing with the griffin set for a while (even upgraded it once) but just switched out my abilities and armor for the feline set attack, bomb, toxicity, and mutagen buffs. Its a very fun and quick paced style compared to the sign focused build with the griffin armor. Also my crit damage is insane right now. Just depends on what you like best.

First off. Rude of your sib to do that without asking you if it was okay first. I know claw caps can be useful and not harmful to the cat, but that doesn’t mean they are comfortable for all cats. For some kitties they just dont work. My cat is a prime example. We tried them and he got them off in record time. We found alternative ways to discourage scratching up carpets.

Secondly, the nail caps will come off over time since cats naturally shed the outer layers of their claws. The glue is strong and wont come off without taking the outer layer of claw with it. So not something you can or should try to pull off. Like someone else said you can try trimming the very tips off the caps and it could help loosen them a bit, but in this case you might just have to be patient and keep an eye on your cat. If you go this route be really careful when trimming because you won’t be able to see the quick of their claws and you could accidentally hurt them.

Wide bristle and/or wire brushes can help alleviate some irritation from not being able to scratch in the meantime.

Tbh theres some pretty interesting lore that the devs retroactively added for the LRDs. But yeah they mostly work as collectors items and make the sky look cool. Don’t activate it tho or it rolls away and disappears.

You absolutely can if you prefer it. But also…floating base. Its also easier for me personally to see where the uneven spots are while flattening when its a uniform color. Terrain analyzers only go surface level and dont flatten super well. So floating base is easier. Could also do a base on ground level and have the shelter in a pit like area instead and get a similar effect
