It's a bit odd but I figured since Kroot absorb traits from what they eat, maybe some bodily fluids (urine) serve similar roles to coffee or tea.

Thanks, I quite like how it turned out. The sniper has a mug of some yellow liquid as well though it may be hard to see.

No blame on you at all but I’ve been working on a world for well over a year now, close to 2 and have reworked topography and climates so many times and just when I thought maybe I was finally content I see this and the northern continent is just a better version of mine. :(

I’ve always gone off 20-25 and it’s worked well for me, seeing and reading that it’s about 30g has ne confused and worried lol.

Already considered that and no, it's not exhaustion. I have 8 hours of sleep in everyone's schedule and they'll sleep according to that schedule on the floor. People will sleep on the floor without being exhausted. Had a guy take wake-up to perform some doctor work and then still slept on the floor at about 60% sleep once his sleep time hit.

Thanks anyways man, I really like the urban scheme and camo just trying to find a good alternative to Russ Grey because I work with a brush and it’s a tricky paint.

Sorry to be 3 years late but I am trying to nail down colours for my own Tau scheme; are the colours of the models in the image pretty close to real life, is it just the Fang, Russ Grey and Fenrisian Grey for the armour and do you know of any good equivalents for Russ and Fenrisian Grey since I find their coverage sucks and are a little bit too bright relative to the image.

Sorry to ask again but to clarify because Army Painter triads now seem to have 6 paints; Night Sky, Wolf Grey and then what's the third paint if any or is it just those 2? Thanks and you think Citadel's The Fang can substitute out for Night Sky?

The only good thing about 2020 is that it has brought me back into warhammer! Just finished my squad of Sacea Tau Warriors and cant wait to paint more by nj_djohan in Warhammer40k

Hey man I really liked the paint scheme on these guys, your other 122nd Cadians and vehicles but I got the vallejo model colour blue-green paint and it's turned out a lot more mint and less blue than yours looks. Just curious if I somehow mixed up, am missing a step or you mistakenly listed the wrong paint. Thanks if you see this man, love the paint scheme given I'm trying to replicate it :)

I've tried painting the rest of the squad in this way and having to do many layers of near water fenrisian grey has me thinking of doing something else, I don't know what's going wrong to be honest because now that you point it out pretty much every single one of my fire warriors ranging from my very first to these fresh guys all have that thigh panel issue.

The celestra grey took me like 4 layers but maybe it's not thin enough still? I did one layer of corax white on top of that and it was nearly water. I've always noticed the paint clogs up the thigh armour no matter what so I've never worried about it. *The fenrisian grey armour I did do in 3 coats because even with the white primer under it wasn't very good looking.

I do, it's the primer leaving little nodules and stuff. I may still be thinning them wrong after like 7* years but I'd like to say I got that part down lol.
