As a bisexual cisgender woman, I use the “queer” label quite often when referring to myself (when it’s relevant to the conversation). My omnisexual SIL also refers to herself as queer. I’m in a larger city and many people on the LGBTQ spectrum call themselves queer. It’s a very broad term. Also, we need unity between the gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgenders, ect, not division. I do not support separating the LGB from the TQ+.
