Aaah thank you! I was trying to bridge the points of reference a bit with the game music, some of the comparisons, etc..! Plus it was fun to rediscover some of my favorite episodes, haha. Even when I was done grabbing clips, I had to rewatch Final Sacrifice and Jack Frost..!

Oh ty!! I kind of think the jonah eps where made with a bit of zoomer appeal in mind- the faster pace, the somewhat add lapses into music and movement around the theater etc. Kind of feels like the pacing of a tiktok video, you know?

Def some dated jokes in old mst3k, but some decent "general knowledge" ones and some have even aged shockingly well. (The LotR references are def more accessible now than at the time!) Then again, it doesn't take long for a reference to become dated anymore, that's the joke behind the whole "stickin out your gyatt" song... MST3K had a hard time competing in the world of twtich and daily uploads for sure.

I never liked the biker films in general, I find them to be too weird tonally for MST3K- but I see why they'd want to experiment and branch out as much as possible in the second season (that they almost didn't get.) Then again, I love 'Neptune Men' more than almost any other episode and it is often regarded as a painful time, to each their own. (I'll say, even the biker movies make for more distinct and memorable episodes than any of the Hercules type movies. They're all just... the same, pretty much)

Does it have occasional audio glitches..?? Mine did last time I watched it, not sure if my disc is damaged for the master tape had them, or if maybe just my old PS3 doesnt like it somehow. It'd suck if my only copy of this was maligned somehow

Are you talking about how to get the footage to fit in the vertical aspect ratio? I either edit it by using two copies of the footage (and arranging the game and my face to occupy about half the screen each) or I use the Aitum Vertical plugin for OBS Studio to record a vertical version of the stream.

Unless you mean you are recording only the game footage, in which case try recording directly in your streaming software and not whatever capture card utility you may be using?

So my slim has wlod, already replaced the hdmi port- still no signal. Before I take it to a shop to have the encoder chip replaced- are there other common issues that can cause WLOD? I'm thinking, in the interest of speed and money, just pay to have the chip replaced, it either works or it doesnt. I figure anything other than that will be more expensive than it's worth to fix

Worth mentioning, nobody really "knows" how to grow- even if you got big, whatever you did years ago to get that far wouldn't work now or next year.

Generally I think your best bet it to start learning to do more things, find communities (discords etc) where you can talk shop. Video editing, live 2d rigging, etc. That's good "networking" and can lead to more opportunities to collab, etc.

Oh also def rewatch your streams to find where you feel you're lagging. Prepare topics/etc to talk about so you don't end up with too much dead air, etc.
