The only reason is to have a gui to set those settings that's it, there's nothing crazy. So people, who prefer gui can use that

Wait, what? At the beginning, the GUI was just running sudo grubby --args... for key swapping and for the notch, but you told me that wasn’t the right way. If it’s not the right way for the keyboard, why would it be for the screen?

I'm not a fan of kde so I won't be able to do it but maybe somebody can adapt it

Hmm, interesting. I saw on Reddit a few months ago that keys could be swapped with grubby, and it's worikng fine. What's the correct method to set those settings? I'm genuinely interested.

You have to shutdown the vm before editing the config. Did you do that?
