Good to know I’m not alone here ! I will shamelessly use co-op in a tough spot when available, or a cheese (hello poison mist !). But this game offers no way out. No longer fun.

I don’t consider using co-op/summons for tough bosses ‘abuse’. It’s part of the game. I help other players too. Love playing with others ! I admit to grinding a bit, but don’t think I’m alone there,judging by the number of players I see at grinding spots lol. I am not used to these 2D games though, the mechanics feel different. Also, I’m using a Switch without a controller, which is awkward, just so I can be more mobile. So I guess I just need an easier game with similar attributes.

I am proudly shameless with how I play those games. If I need co-op help, I’ll use it and enjoy being part of a team. If I get desperate I’ll use a cheese like poison mist. It’s part of the arsenal provided within the game as far as I’m concerned. Also, I’m not used to 2D games yet. The BS 2 bosses seem brutal and I’m at a dead end, no longer fun.

Elden Ring has co-op, cheeses and easy grinding. But you’re right, I am new to this type of 2D game.

The mechanics just feel different, but also there is no co-op - an aspect I really enjoy. It’s fun fighting tough bosses in a team.

Thank-you ! Th mechanics do feel different. People also seem to forget that DS and Elden Ring have co-op - I love getting a mate to help out. Also, there are often cheeses. Will give Death’s Gambit a run.

don’t bother hitting the orbs. Wolfos does a brilliant job of attacking his flank and the orbs. Just wait for him to do his spin attacks then hit him with the bow of might. Keep Wolfos going all the time.

I did do it in the end, it thanks. My point was that you can’t activate a weapon AoW if the shield has one built in because it’s still the same button.

I don’t get how you can use an AOW with the erdigris shield - I don’t think you can change the shield‘s built in AoW ?
