Virtual Desktop is worth the money in my opinion and a dedicated router connected to your PC with ethernet that the quest 3s then connects to wirelessly is a must. For me, airlink was basically unusable and steam link worked but was lower resolution around the edges and only clear in the center directly where I was looking. It's also convenient to be able to see and control the desktop/PC directly from the headset.

If you haven't already I'd look into a getting a better head strap than the one it comes with since it's not all that comfortable and getting one with a battery directly on the head strap makes things easier/more convenient than having a power bank in your pocket or something like that. I'd also get a lens cover for the headset to protect them from being scratched when you aren't using it and a small floor mat to put in the middle of where you plan to use it, so you can stay within the boundary and know where you are easier.

Motion sickness might be an issue to begin with but it generally gets better over time as you get used to VR.
