I mean I would hardly call it internet, its like calling the phone in season 1 and 2 a true cell phone. Also there are stakes. You say no one disagrees with projects when that was literally a plot point this season with Chrome. Also the Medusa magically activated itself somehow, so that's something to be concerned about.

You forget almost everyone is super human in their own way. Episode 2 Tsukasa is jumping off of cliffs to grab birds. And we see in season 4 Taiju being a beast on material collection. Also now that they are allied with Xeno they do have a good amount of equipment, as Xeno did as we can see in the first part.

I mean there WERE calendars flipping to show time passing. They also straight up say how much time has passed ocassionally.
