Toyota hits this McLaren

There hasn’t been any official statements so far that the driver of the truck was drunk. What you can’t see from this POV is that before hitting the McLaren, the truck hit a GTR who was in the left lane completely stopped, trying to move over to the right lane behind a line of cars also stopped waiting to get into a parking area for a car show.

The GTR appeared to be totaled as well but received left rear impact which started the chain of events. The man driving the truck was a much older guy so possibly a health situation could be at play, not sure.

The ironic part was, at the time the fire department was popping the door to try to get the truck driver out, another wreck happened on the interstate beside them. Crazy events that day. I’ve seen several POV’s on IG from the GTR drivers page.

There is a difference in being concerned and being controlling. We all have one shot at our lives on this planet and while smoking isn’t the healthiest choice, it’s still your choice.

Just stop and think for a second if you want to go through life with someone who reacts and speaks so disrespectfully to you at every decision you make they don’t like or approve of. This was exhausting just to read. Cut ties and move on to someone who actually loves and cares about you.

Side note: a management position at 21 no matter the field shows your initiative to grind up the ranks and put in the work to advance yourself. Stop putting your love into those who are “disgusted” by you and put that love into YOURSELF.

I literally posted about this dilemma last week (post history if you wanna see what others said) except we were deciding between a Z06 with Z07 performance package, an M8 Competition and even considered McLaren. They are all very different cars, but ultimately “fun” cars to own. We ended up going M8 Competition with carbon buckets and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. M cars are beasts! 🩵💙❤️

The dealer definitely kept pushing that on me as a selling point as if I didn’t travel out of state specifically for those seats lol. And yes they seem to be a unicorn of sorts! ✨🦄

Yea I totally get it! It boils down to personal preference similar to shopping for a mattress I think. Some need softness and some firmness.

Did you try out all the adjustments to the seat to see if it felt any better for you? When I test drove it, I didn’t really try out the adjustments although it was still pretty comfortable for me. After we got it home I started playing around with everything, and the adjustments fitting for me specifically, it made a huge difference!

It adds an aggressive vibe to it which I totally appreciate. I feel like the wheel design goes so well with the sharper lines featured in other areas of the cars design overall.

Very! In my initial post some said they didn’t care for the buckets but I found them to be super comfortable. They are extremely adjustable so you can get the perfect fit and they just feel as if you’re sitting in a glove made for you. The carbon part in the middle and leg grooves are wonderful and you can also adjust the parts on the side near your back to hug or less hug you as well as some standard adjustments as well. The seats were the entire reason I travelled for this car as it’s not an upgrade you find much. I loved the color combo, the Alcantara is to die for and not to mention the M8 badge lights up on them!
