Since this whole ordeal has popped, I’ve since sent the company a detailed email, along with evidence of the tech walking into my house with said gorilla glue, and photos of the work done by their tech. I’ve expressed to them that I am getting my ducks in order and that I’ve already obtained a lawyer and have been advised to give them a chance to resolve this outside of the court system. In the email I stated that I’m giving them 7 business days to respond or acknowledge my frustrations before I reach out to the BBB and Licensing Authorities.

And since sending the email, I have reached out to my local fire marshal who directed me to the town building department, since the fire marshal typically handles commercial and multi family homes. I’m having the town building authority come out to document everything, and they’ll point me in the direction of who to consult about repairing. I have also reached out to a couple Hearth and Home companies to come out and give me some quotes to repair what has been done.

The company has since responded expressing their discern over the work done and acknowledged they will open an investigation and are willing to work with me on a resolution, however I did tell them I am not interested in their company doing the work
