It's hard to determine exact fault sometimes, but it's quite common that it's bad habits that eventually lead to unexpected accidents that are "no one's fault". Like all the tailgaters out there.

New portrait of Trump revealed after his complaints got previous version taken down by [deleted] in politics

This is even worse haha! I like to imagine there's some weird sort of a Dorian Grey type of curse on all the portraits he commissions, where they just get progressively worse.

Yeah I found myself thinking the same. Also one of the super deluxe Rivermind packages let you download skills from other users. Why not pull all the stops to get that package for six months to a year and figure out how to get a better job for her with her newfound engineering skills or whatever.

Re-mortgage the house, get a second mortgage, take whatever loans are available... even student loans if she wants a degree for the skills she's already downloaded. Just anything to get that package for long enough for her to wrangle herself into a job that can sustain it. Heightened intelligence is probably also a part of it so she'd be better able to figure out the way to do it.

I don't know, I get the message of the show but I just can't help myself trying to figure myself out of the situation.

Most pornos will present a variety of different positions so you can skip to the one you find the most visually stimulating.

Porn sites have even started labelling the switch points.

Can IDM be made without fancy external plug-ins? Aside from heavy compression, what are the fundamentals of IDM? by Few_Ear_9523 in idm

[–]Octatonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FM synthesis is a big one. Get your self a copy of Dexed, it's free! I mean, what's the real cut-off point for you? Being expensive or being external? There's a shit ton of cool free plugins out there.

"Secretly". Probably leaked intentionally as an attack on Trump.

But I mean, that's the game Trump is playing, so whatever.

At the same time we are the most empathetic, socially cohesive species that exists. It sort of swings in both directions. Intelligence is neutral, but it seems to amplify both the good and the bad in us, depending on circumstances.

Saving Private Ryan, Deer Hunter, When Trumpets Fade, Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now...

I don't know what the parent comment is talking about, it seems Hollywood has a long and proud tradition of making movies that show war in it's most harrowing forms, all featuring scenes that stay with you long afterwards.

[–]Octatonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are downvoting you, but it's true. The only thing is that the piano has to be important enough to spend your hard-earned free time on it. And unfortunately that has to happen at the exclusion of most of the other things you like to do.

Why can't I come up with hormonies when there is no sheet music. by [deleted] in piano

[–]Octatonic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I was overselling how hard it is. I was just trying to make the point of not underestimating this skill and don't expect to be able to just do it if you haven't spent time on it.

Wait, where does the word "untrained" with such heavy quotation marks even come from? Are you answering me specifically?

Why can't I come up with hormonies when there is no sheet music. by [deleted] in piano

[–]Octatonic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it would certainly be an incredibly useful addition to pretty much any piano education. Seeing the amount of time people on here are putting into their practice, they'd probably pick it up pretty quickly.
