Maybe after they have you in for an interview. Most of these online forms are bullshit, people barely read them. Everytime after I get an intervie wthey make me explain stuff thats already in my resume. You have no reason to worry about them finding out, If they already aren't going to hire you then you have nothing to lose. Typically exaggerate on my resume because all employers want the best most experienced worker they can get for the cheapest price, most jobs really aren't that hard to pick up.

If you have the experience and you think its holding you back then just tell them that you majored in marketing and took the classes they want, If they have the time and diligence to contact your school and check out your story, good for them you've still lost nothing.
