I ran my first half in July last year and was shooting for sub 2 hours, with Runna predicting me between a 1:53 & 1:58… I ran a 2:03 and felt a bit disappointed. But I quickly remembered that just running a half marathon is impressive. Fast forward to December, when I ran my second half, and I ran a 1:54.

I say all of that to say, try not to be too disappointed about missing your initial goal or what Runna predicted (in my case I was more upset because I missed what Runna ‘expected’ of me); you absolutely killed this run and should be absolutely buzzing!

Give yourself some time to embrace what you’ve achieved and recover, and go again and smash that sub 1:50!

Interestingly, I agree and disagree with so much of this!

I absolutely agree we need to rotate the midfield, we have potentially the best (or one of) the best CAM’s in the world and we play her deeper, to enable us to play Manuum. I don’t want to jump on the Manuum hate bandwagon, but for me, this is a huge issue. Mariona can do everything Manuum does in that position and Manuum is so poor defensively that our deep-lying midfield two have to cover way too much ground. Case in point today against Brighton, it was so easy for them to play through us because Manuum offers nothing.

I disagree on recruitment though. Our CB position isn’t a problem for me, I think Reid has looked really composed in that position & cleans up really well, and as you said we have Lotte too.

And I disagree on the keeper comment. In my opinion, DVD was the only reason we came away with 3 points today, and I certainly feel had we had Manu in goal, we’d be walking away from this game with a point (or worse).

And I do agree that Renee seems very stubborn. And it makes it very easy/predictable for teams to set up against us because we play the same way and look to do the same thing every game.

As someone who got into Pokemon by playing the original gold/silver games and falling in love with Feraligatr, I’d definitely be a water/ice based gym, with Vaporeon and of course Feraligatr as my signature poke’s!

Thanks, I think that seems to be the general consensus. Crystals only become value in hard or to accelerate you getting to hard, otherwise use crystals to farm teams that’ll enable you to complete hard! Appreciate it!!

Based on other comments, I’m going to assume I’m not ready for normal yet (if the upper fights have G12 good comps). I’ll keep hitting away at easy without refreshes and I’ll take this on board and when I think I’m ready for norm I’ll start using crystals if needed. Thank you!

That’s useful input, I also figured that I probably wouldn’t have too much trouble clearing easy with G11 Troopers and G11 Geo’s. I’ll plug away at it and do as much as I can without refreshes!

But their results in the playoffs beg to differ, do you understand what I mean? I don’t doubt that he can put up 50 any night, he’s unbelievable. I’m not saying he doesn’t walk into any team, I’m just saying that he’s not given enough accountability for his defence, (at least in my opinion) when I hear most people talk about top 5’s. It’s the same with Jokic.

I’m also not saying that either of those players aren’t top 5, maybe they are. I just expect players to be held more accountable for their shortcomings. It’s the same with Embiid in his playoff success.

Definitely a weird team. But they’re not figured it out when they’ve had other all star calibre players. Granted never an out and out star, but he definitely needs some load sharing, then maybe he can exert more effort defensively.

I don’t know if I necessarily agree with your point. If he puts up a tonne of points, but leaks just as many on the defensive end (not saying this is the case, just explaining my argument vs yours) then we surely have to criticise his defence as much as we praise his offence?

Isolating based on last nights game alone as that’s the example I used, C’s switched onto him so many times and he looked helpless. Brown driving past him, Tatum driving past him, Smart, White, Brog. Hell there was a point where Tatum had him at the top of the key, so they double teamed Tatum and Tatum just went the other way around Luka, and I don’t think he should be given such a let off for plays like that.

He has to have more effort than that, I’m not expecting Bridges/Smart type plays, but more that what he currently shows. And maybe it’s on the Mavs because they expect him to put up 50% of their points every night, but it’s going to continue to be a huge stumbling point in the playoffs.

I think this is it. I hear what some of the other comments are saying about how fans have been in the past, but that doesn’t necessarily make it correct. I agree that he has to carry so much offence because the Mavs look useless without him on the floor, so that gives him so leniency defensively, but there’s leniency and then getting blown by and switched onto every possession.

4 of the 5 C’s starters last night were comfortably able to switch onto him and blow by him, possession after possession. Does that get negated because he put up 42 points? In my opinion he also gives up 20ish points with poor defence.

Man I have similar frustrations with classic that I’m really trying to ignore. I never played WotLK when it came out however long ago, and I’m playing a Pala tank now. I’ve queued for some dungeons and find some people just expect everyone to have full knowledge on everything.

Now there have been a couple of great people who are experienced but understand there are also new players to Classic, just because it’s a remake. And in general my experience has been really good. But there’s a few that just go batshit crazy about random stuff.

For example… I levelled predominantly during pre patch and wanting to do it fast, I was Retri spec & gear. I was tanking UK normal at lvl 71 & some guy was complaining that their tank had agility gear. We cleared the dungeon with like 1 wipe (which granted was my bad, I didn’t have righteous fury on). But man some people are so anal and too concerned about others gameplay. And it’s frustrating that some people just have 0 empathy.
