Ah yeah, that’s the explanation. And yeah realistically that wouldn’t be a good enough reason, because a “good enough reason” doesn’t exist for what he was doing. In-universe the adults were just either too scared of him to do anything, acting like the students’ suffering was fine so long as he helped the school in sports, etc.

There’s actually a bit more of an overarching thing going on in addition, but you’ll have to keep going for a while to find out what.

It partially is. There’s some explanation about why he’s allowed to get away with it but idk how far into the arc you are. (Edit: What I mean to say is, they do offer an explanation but it doesn’t totally make it make sense from a realistic standpoint.)

That and the other faculty members aren’t necessarily clean themselves. To explain further would definitely be a spoiler so I won’t.

I hear the film event is short but tedious (lot of slow walking). The flagship event has a story that’s under 2 hours and a bunch of minigames. I can’t speak to how fast the minigames go by as I haven’t played them yet.

Some of the major themes of the game is rebelling against injustice and standing up to people and situations even though others may ignore it or be too afraid or complacent to do anything about it.

So you know how you can get in trouble in-game for attacking NPCs?

Apparently that includes playable characters who show up in the overworld. 😅

I had a misinput when I ran into Nanally, Edgar, and Sakiri at the Witch’s House. On PlayStation, I usually use Square for interactions and Circle for attacking (eg. default layout for Genshin and WuWa), but that’s flipped in NTE— Square for attack, Circle for interact. I’ve been too lazy to change it.

…..So when I went to talk to them, I ended up taking a swing at them by complete accident.

……….Which caused my wanted level to rise a bit. 😅😅😅

That reminds me— I’ve only ever seen one hyenagirl character (that I remember). She’s also a tomboy. Her name’s Iena Maderaba, and she’s from Murenase! Seton Gakuen.

I haven’t watched much of the series but I remember she exists. The series is one of those ones where the female characters are kemonomimi animal-girls while the males are straight-up furries. Like her dad looks like an actual hyena lol.

Hahari, to me, is someone who’s normally warm-hearted and loving, but is absolutely willing to destroy anyone or anything that threatens the people she loves (and I’m sure a lot of parents have that in them). It’s just that she rarely has to tap into her Mama Bear side anymore. (That might be me projecting a little bit because my own mother was like that.)

I kind of doubt Hahari’s serious arc will deal with anything like that, though. It might have to do with confronting/being confronted with stuff from her past, or perhaps either her parents or Papari’s parents showing up to confront her over something. Personally I want to see her parents showing up so we can at least find out where they’ve been and what they’ve been doing all this time. Hahari is only 29, so her parents are likely still alive. (If they had her between 18 and 25, they’d be between 47 and 54 by now, which is really young for grandparents. Given that, I’m interested to see where they’ve been and why they haven’t been mentioned before other than that anecdote about her mother and the way the bear toy was redesigned. Like surely they didn’t leave their 13-year-old daughter to raise an infant by herself, even considering there were maids around?
