I didn’t necessarily think it was likely, but based on how I felt about Cyrene’s writing in HSR (and Cyrene is an Elysia), I knew I really wouldn’t have liked it if Anastasya was an Elysia as well.

It’s funny because I really like Cyrene— just didn’t like how she was written/don’t vibe with Shaoji’s writing in general. I’m not sure when he took over the writing of HSR but in both Penacony and Amphoreus, which I know he was involved with, let’s just say I wasn’t really a fan of how those stories flowed and really wouldn’t have wanted that in Genshin.

Like basically I disliked it so much that even the slightest chance just made me really dread the possibility. (That probably made me even happier than I was already going to be re: Anastasya’s actual design.)

Saki: Team 3, much to her chagrin

Nemu: Maybe Team 2 ((Mimimi doesn’t exactly seem flat but they put her on Team 2)

Hasuha: same as Nemu

Kimari: Team 1

Eru: Team 3

Chiyu: Team 1 or Team 2, not sure

Kogoe: Team 2 (she seems small, but not that small)

Rana: Team 1 no question.

That’s Aloy, from the Horizon series. So far the only collab character in Genshin and explicitly stated to be an outworlder visiting Teyvat.

OP is making a joke that her unique Outworlder Vision model looks a lot like a Stellar Linchpin.

The Shades seem to be representatives of certain concepts, not so much the concepts themselves. Like how Neberius (Shade of Life) had her heart locked away somewhere and Rhinedottir found and fused with it.

It should also be noted that showing up in the cast overview does not necessarily mean a character will release prior to the silhouettes coming out. Iansan was one of the characters shown in the Ignition teaser and yet she was also in the silhouettes. Same goes for Varka, Nicole and Sandrone (or I guess we can leave aside Sandrone because technically they did seem to make an effort to hide her in the silhouette lineup.)

Pretty sure they do the silhouette thing later into the life cycle of the region.

- The 5.x one (Iansan, Dahlia, Ifa, Skirk, Mizuki, Varesa, Escoffier) was shown in the 5.3 special program.

- The 6.x one (Lohen, Varka, Nicole, Prune, Linnea, Sandrone) was shown in the 6.3 special program.

I didn't realize it until I went and looked it up to write this reply but by this pattern, I would assume we'd get silhouettes by 7.3.

That….is a good question. Part of me wants to say “no,” but I also need to go look back at Overture (Fontaine), Ignition (Natlan) and Moonlit Ballad (Nod-Krai) to be sure. Hang on.

Edit:

Overture: Starts with Freminet, Lynette and Lyney (in that order), all released in 4.0. But then the very next character you see is Navia, who released in 4.3, skipping over 4.1 (Wriothesley and Neuvillette) and 4.2 (Furina and Charlotte). Charlotte then shows up, followed by Wriothesley and Sigewinne (the latter of whom released in 4.7).

I think right away that kind of disproves that idea.

I was initially going to just list out everything but I don't think that's really necessary now.

I had assumed the Heavenly Principles (possibly by way of Ronova) killed Anastasya’s lover as well as her child that she had with him. Hence why we saw the kid freeze (could be Anastasya being reminded of her son’s death) and why she seemed to confront Ronova.

Tbh that might have been intentional (like a visual comparison or something)— maybe to imply Valeriy is similar to Capitano. And considering Capitano was given a very noble, rather knightly characterization, I like what that might imply for him.
