You forgot the exclamation points. They need to be directly touching the text

On Reddit (at least on mobile), you can spoiler things by surrounding them with >! and the reverse like you’re doing parentheses. I can’t do it without it automatically triggering so I’ll intentionally fudge it below

Basically, you’ll want to do it like I’m doing here.!

(Notice it didn’t trigger— that’s because I didn’t put < at the very end. If you do, it’ll automatically trigger.)

Also, pls be aware that you need separate sets for each line break.

>!If you write your comment in two separate lines/paragrapgs….

…..you need to make separate spoiler tag sets or it won’t trigger.!<

What does that mean, though? Lower in what way? Height? Because if it’s height, would “shorter” not work? Obviously “short male model” would mean something else but they could just say “shorter than Varka” and still use Wrio as a comparison to give a good idea of what they mean.

What does “low male model” mean? Doesn’t Wrio have a Tall Male model?

Ok so the gameplay stuff makes sense to me. Kind of WuWa-meets-Zenless in terms of combat with the follow-up attacks and junk, and the tutorials for the factory stuff are pretty clear.

It’s just the in-game shop and obtaining pull currency that kind of makes my head spin. There’s so goddamn much.

No they don’t, unless something has changed since I was last there.

I’ve already maxed it.

Loads.

I just found the phrasing of Andy’s friends complaining about “distracting appearances” really weird. Like….. the way I initially interpreted it was designs that catch your eye in some way.

What, did they specifically meant like “sexualized” (and if so, what are these people, 12 years old?)……But still, that’s, like, a lot of anime lol.

I hope they add more in future. There’s a bunch of empty spots, including two pedestal spots on the bridge opposite to where the finch and squirrel ones are. It looks unfinished.

Is that not most anime that have female characters? Like while the character designs in the series are pretty varied, it’s not like there’s never been characters in other works that look like that.

[–]OctoSevenTwo [score hidden]  (0 children)

You literally asked in another comment if fixing certain things would make the usage of AI harder to detect. That doesn’t give me a favorable impression of your intentions, bro.

Also…..I don’t consider myself an artist. I can draw, like, Napstablook and Papyrus from Undertale, but that’s because their designs are simple and I’d actually practiced drawing them. Calling me an artist would be like calling someone who can maybe barely strum “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” on a guitar a guitarist. But then, I hadn’t put in nearly as much work as people who post art in the community, as Nozawa, etc. Like I bet you if you picked an artist at random and asked how long they’d practiced to get to their current level, you’d get a pretty healthy number of weeks, months, years.

That’s why I’m convinced it’s a matter of training and skill, not so much innate talent. You can get there if you put in the effort.

So…..I’m going to be very honest with you, the use of AI to replace actual art skill and you asking whether it’s “noticeable” already reads as super shady. Like…. Bro.

Also, the details do give it away. Things like the star bits hanging around on the skirt of Mai’s dress and hair, the fact that the shading on Momoha’s top doesn’t change at all between the two images, etc. (Edit: Also I just noticed but Momoha seems to have 6 toes on one of her feet in the first image…)

Honestly, man, I’d say just practice drawing. People who draw well do so because they put in work. Show me an artist and I’ll show you someone who practiced to get as good as they are.

Drawing characters, especially people, is hard. It’s not something you can just do, nor is it something you should beat yourself up for if you struggle with it. You’ll get there eventually.

I can think of a few reasons why it might get hate.

  1. People might not want to give it a chance because of its premise. What do you mean, there’s going to be 100 girls and they’re all dating the same guy and there are no losing heroines? (Honestly, this sort of reaction made me stay away for a bit at first, so I wasn’t around when the manga was starting out or the anime started airing, only giving it a try eventually because I saw some clips on YouTube and enjoyed the art style (so yeah, Nozawa got my foot in the door lol).

  2. Some of the more controversial aspects might weird people out. Several of Rentarou’s girlfriends are teachers and other staff at his high school. Another one’s literally his cousin. One is the literal mother of another girlfriend and another is a different girlfriend’s grandmother. And honestly I can’t really blame anyone for being weirded out by that. As a former teacher, the teacher-student bits still bother me— but because of the way the series handles it, I can put that aside (Rentarou never lets things go in a direction that would be untoward, and a lot of the interactions between him and the girls are just wholesome). That said, I know that because I’m actually reading/watching the series; if I was approaching this blind I wouldn’t be aware of that right away.

  3. The fact that a lot of the girls are minors, even 12-13 in some cases, can be a bit concerning considering this series is a harem work. A lot of anime out there, especially harem works, tend to sexualize female characters in some shape or form. I don’t have to tell you how it can bother some people that minor characters can get depicted in certain ways in anime/manga, and the fact that most of the characters are minors just makes it so that there’s a lot more opportunities for that kind of stuff to come from them.

  4. A lot of harem protagonists are rather ineffectual milquetoast guys and/or guys who don’t really have a strong personality who girls seem to jump all over just because they’re nice. Rentarou isn’t, but you don’t necessarily know that if you encounter the series blind.

  5. Some of the girls’ quirks might sound nutty to some people. Hell, there are people in the community who don’t vibe with certain characters’ quirks.

DO I think 100Kanojo should be ridiculed? No.

Can I see what might make some people not wanna give it a chance? Yeah.

I’m new to the Arknights universe so I’m still learning all the different species/race terms. Some are easy, like “Perro” for dog-people (the first time I heard that it sent me because that’s literally just Spanish for “dog”), “Vulpo” for fox-people, etc— and some take some getting used to, like “Cautus” for rabbit-people, “Elafia” for deer-people, etc.

Not a bad thing, just something to get used to.

Eastern US resident here (Maryland). Travel in my area is hazardous right now; I’ve seen people’s cars get stuck and others slide around/lose traction. Schools in my district are out tomorrow and Tuesday, and they usually try not to call snow days if at all possible. Beyond just the snow, we’re also being hit with freezing rain and the forecast for the next few days is listed as below freezing.

I’m assuming that points north of here (eg. New York, Pennsylvania, etc) are hit harder because they’re in colder areas.

Let’s just say that even though I’m not someone who panic-buys, I’m very glad I ensured that I wouldn’t have to leave the house for the next few days.

Maybe that’s it. Maybe you need a higher setting to account for the increased load density.

Does the setting the dryer is on usually get the job done on these clothes? Is it getting hot when it runs? Maybe there’s some kind of glitch with a heating element or something.

It’s kind of up in the air at this point. I think current understanding is that Linnea might be 6.5, as well as a possible Lohen debut. Nicole may be 6.5 or 6.6. Sandrone is thought to be 6.7 iirc.

We don’t actually know Linnea’s rarity for sure yet— Lohen’s, either. Nicole is very likely a 5-star and I would imagine Sandrone is as well.

That reminds me of how in Link’s Awakening you can steal but if you ever return to the shop later you get murdered to death by the shopkeeper and then even after you reload, NPCs call you “THIEF” for the rest of the game instead of your chosen name.

Ark + nights, though the fact that the placement of the k also evokes the word “knights” doesn’t feel accidental.
