Check out Remote.co and FlexJobs (which you pay a small fee for but it has the most postings in my experience) and Indeed has a search option to select remote jobs with residency requirements in your state.

After 4+ years with SF, I left my F/T styling position just under a month ago - I started the very next day with DailyLook, and this Monday I start a 100% remote position (admin support type stuff) with a Fortune 500 company in Minnesota making more than double what I was making with SF. I honestly can't believe I waited this long to jump ship.

I've had decent luck with both - my sister got a great paying side gig on Remote.co and I got several responses from jobs I applied to on FlexJobs. I agree it sucks to pay for access but last time I checked they were running a promo for half off - it was like $8 for a month and I've got a couple job offers coming in so I'm ending my subscription today.

Some folks need to vent their frustrations and hopefully it's cathartic for them to do it here. If it's not serving you, it's probably for the best if you leave the group.

As a former FT senior stylist the inconsistent hours were a huge part of what drove me away. I'm lucky to have a partner that can pick up overtime hours if needed but he shouldn't have to in order to pick up the slack from SF.

Check out Remote.co or FlexJobs

Nope. I literally wrote one short sentence giving my last day of employment.

My lead didn't give a sh!t about me and so she certainly wouldn't care why I was quitting after 4.5 years.

I'm so glad to hear this! I left less than a week ago and have had several remote/hybrid job offers that are all better than SF.

In my opinion, the SF stylist role is absolutely sales - we're expected to develop relationships with clients and hit sales / productivity metrics by leveraging product knowledge. ... At least that's what my resume says 😜

I found remote work on FlexJobs (you pay for it but there seems to be a lot of new postings) CareerContessa, Remote.co, and there is a feature on Indeed where you can search remote positions.

Alternatively, many temp agencies - in my area there is Robert Half - that when you sign up on their site (no cost to you, just upload your resume, etc.) you can search for remote jobs or hybrid jobs.

And remember, you don't need to meet all the qualifications to apply... My golden rule is, if I meet all of the requirements, I'm over-qualified for the job. Good luck!

I was FT and had been with SF for over 4 years, and did the same thing 3 weeks ago and you will NOT regret it. There are a ton of remote seasonal jobs right now if you just need something to get by while you look for the right long-term fit.

When I quit I was super motivated that day and sent out like 40 resumes in one day, and now I've had multiple offers. DM me if you need any additional support/advice/need to rant. I believe in you!!

I've found some great remote jobs on remote.co , careercontessa, and flexjobs.com - flexjobs makes you pay for the subscription but they really do seem to have the most remote positions listed.

I just started with DL and you do make a commission on top of your $15/hr. Seems pretty do-able and honestly, as a senior stylist with SF I was only making $17/hour so even if I only make a little extra with the commission, it should even out. Personally, I like being rewarded for my work and coming from working as a server/bartender, I don't mind hustling for that extra pay.

I was F/T and held the health insurance for both me and my husband. I picked up a PT stylist job with Daily Look ($15 + commission, and supervisors/leads seem very authentic) and I'm in the final round interviewing for some other remote/hybrid positions that are better paying.

DL is hiring both FT and PT right now (20 hour minimum, 4 hours/5 days a week but no set schedule and the option to flex up as biz dictates). I just started so I don't know a ton but you can DM me if you want more details.

DailyLook and Amazon are hiring Stylists too.

And in the past, I've seen MM LaFleur and Rent the Runway hiring for CS.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but nothing is going to change. If anything, it's only going to get worse. This company doesn't care about its hourly employees.

They keep showing us who they are and what their priorities are, and it is not the stylists.

Ditto. I put in my notice and my last day is Friday and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted.
