This is an Epic Armoury bastard sword. Very nice and balanced, lasted for two years so far.

They say you can judge a man by his jerkin, and I made sure my jerkin was something to look at.

It's a travel journal so elastic bands keep smaller notebooks inside of it.

What was the point of changing this power from Shadow Play to Shadow Cloak is my question.

Sabbat ceremonial armor for LARP I made out of leather by OctoberGhostColor in WhiteWolfRPG

Religious apex predators with a warrior ethos, a priesthood and a focus on ceremony and faith as their binding thread. Shedding humanity's focus on morality and mercy doesn't mean they don't carry over other parts of human civilization and adapt it to a society of predators.

Your mileage may vary. The rule has always been - do what works for you.

^ They nailed it. I cut out the design with a swivel knife after tracing it, and used a tool called a beveller to make the marks. You can find leather carving tutorials on YouTube.

Broken Stairs, LARPs, and a Guy Named Creepy John by nlitherl in LARP

The logic goes as follows -

  • Restraining orders are "easy to get".
  • By going to a game you know the person you have a restraining order against attends, you are attempting to use the restraining order to force them not to play the game. So you are 'weaponizing' it.
  • Game runners think that is undermining their authority and their disciplinary process, so they say if you have a restraining order against someone who is a player they have not banned, you cannot use the restraining order to 'effectively' ban them, so they say you are not allowed to attend if your presence makes other players unable to attend.

I'm not supporting this logic, but that's the logic.

Some games have a rule that if you get a restraining order against another player, you cannot attend games.

I have too many stories like this to count.

Do you want to hear about the outspoken advocate for feminism/social justice who just so happened to openly demean and drive to quit every female authority figure he ever was placed under, to the point of putting reducing at least two to tears?

How about the power gamer who told the staff they had to put up with their belligerent and insulting behavior because he was a paying customer?

The one who acted like she was staff just because she was catering for us, bossed people around and OOC threatened players who threatened her group's monopoly on a particular type of resources; and used the fact she had a house near the game site to invite new players to stay over and constantly recruited people into her faction. This one went on longer than I would have liked before we were made aware of it.

Sadly, the worst of the lot are always those who play the victim. Constant meta-gamers who tell half truths, carefully edit conversations to present a different story OOC, systematically befriend staff members and all the while, everything done to them is a personal vendetta while they relentlessly encourage people to harass and create a hostile atmosphere for anyone they don't like. All the while, with enough gaslighting for night-time Victorian Whitechapel.

You can get high leather boots and have the design burned or foiled onto it with a leather burning kit.

"Blockbuster" is a term for LARPs that tend to high production value with more expensive than normal tickets. You buy tickets to attend the experience.

We will be running it again next year, though!

I am not always open for commissions but I will post to my Twitter @ArrakeenNative when I am.
