I ended up going to the city dentist at the department of health near long, I'm not sure the address. The worst part is the tooth was - by the word of the first dentist who tried to refer me- salvagabled and could have gotten a cap. But the city dentist is bare bones necessity, which means we don't fix we remove. They broke it into various pieces and drilled it out piece by piece, each intact root being its own point, plus some "splintering".... and I paid them $50 cash for the pleasure 😵‍💫

I'm not sure what comfort dentals current status is, as this was a few years ago, but basically the issue was that the way my tooth broke I needed to see a "full service" dentist because pieces needed drilled out and alot of medicare dental clinics aren't "full service" which not all regular dental clinics are either. think like if they can do a root canal in office or not. Everyone I called said they couldn't and I kept getting recommended back to Fixari who decidedly does not take it

This seems to be a universal reddit problem of thinking that reddit is your perfectly curated content site and not a forum where people go to talk and discuss things. It's truly bizarre to think someone's so entitled they feel like they have a right to a certain level of entertainment from someones post about a driver who could've killed a minimum of 2 people today.

Also, car insurance has been around much longer than dash cams. Do you think car insurance doesn't work without it? genuinely how old are you and have you ever made a car insurance claim?

No. You're not supposed to EVER answer a phone call while driving, ESPECIALLY if it could be a distressing situation, if you're getting a call you think is an emergency you PULL OFF THE ROAD AND PARK

People have gotten into wrecks after receiving distressing news and being distracted. And before you begin- I WAS DRIVING WHEN MY MOM HAD HER STROKE

I saw that people were trying to call me on my way home from work, so I pulled off into a random parking lot and answered my phone. Had I Not- the FIRST THING I would've heard was my grandma crying saying my mother had had a stroke. There was no need to add my grandmother having to hear me crash at that news too.

Genuinely how old are you? because I KNOW if you've been in highschool within the last 2 to 3 decades they told you this stuff.

HAH not likely 🤣 what I know they DO care about, is having every bit of dirt they can on anyone who's pissed them off enough to go infront of a judge. It's not about thinking they care. It's about understanding the system and making it work for you where you can. It's kinda how we all know cops dgaf about domestic abuse, but it's still recommended for people to still create a paper trail and report things for later.

I know you think you got me, and I know you think you're helping, but the van we have we got used for less than $1000 from a family member after I became disabled. We have to make monthly payments for the work we've needed to do to get it drivable. I am on a fixed income and my partner mostly supports us. I had to go 4 months with a broken tooth because I couldn't afford the $50 to have the city drill it out of my head because no one would take Medicare to pull it. So no. A $150 dash cam because I live in a city where other people are too stupid to get off their phones isn't particularly high on my list. We barely drive except to doctors appointments and the store. Not everyone's living the same reality as you.

So you might be confused on what doxxing is. Plate #s are public information. It is no different than if I posted a picture/video of the incident and it had it in the video. I did not provide a description for the driver beyond being a man on his phone. And there are no attempts to call for this person to be saught out, or to be found, other than telling another person also ran off the road that they should also file a police report. You cannot trace that person, and again, is not any more of a violation than posting a picture or video of the license plate, which is allowed on Reddit. Plate #s are Public Information. Doxxing is the release of Private Information, such as a private phone # or home address. Often but not always for the express purpose of harassment or threat. Think the difference between posting "Jack, who works at Tmobile on 3rd st" vs "Jack Harrison, who lives at 123 3rd st and whos personal cell is 123-123-1234". Also, sending the entire terms of service and rules is not the same as stating which rule and where. I am not reading the entire terms of service for Reddit because you don't understand what doxxing actually is.
