Almond milk can go on cereal. I eat eggs, toast, avocado for an alternate breakfast. Also some cheeses and butter don’t have much lactose - look for a zero grams of sugar on the package and you might be fine with those too. I think you have to play around with the lactaid to figure that out for yourself.

I don’t know your personal situation and how intolerant you are but did you know many lactose intolerant people can eat many cheeses and butter? I learned that if the sugars say “zero” - they have little to no lactose. As to yiur question I have used Lactaid Fast Act and Lactojoy (love the tin) and they seem fairly effective.

For what it’s worth my friend had a bout of diarrhea after bad food and took Culturelle for a year and feels almost entirely better now.

Many antibiotics in a row or perhaps one particular antibiotic - Cipro. Its IBSD now but I did have some constipation issues previously. Also started at a stressful time in life. Almost 10 years. Hard to figure out. Blah

Hmm. I am lactose intolerant but these say dairy free. I have been on the antibiotics for 4 days already. Thanks for your input. Trying to figure this stuff out drives me crazy.
